editFlight to Egypt?
If this is the flight to Egypt, the Christ Child would not be speaking from the womb as the text of the carol suggests, as the Flight to Egypt occurred after the Nativity.

Is the ethnomusicographical research on this song really so warped as to call it "apocryphal" and thereby treat it only in respect to its relationship to Christian scripture? The Quran was canonified many centuries earlier, and the Crusades had intervened. It might be original research to claim the carol is derived from Islamic scripture, but it is simply NPoV and the inclusion of highly plausibly relevant fact, to omit "apocryphal" & mention that this echoes a Quranic story of Jesus prophesying from the womb.
