Continuity error

edit

In the bar in Cayenne, Jimmy Ringo asks to see Peggy at the end of the first scene in the bar, yet he has never been told that that is her name. Perhaps worth noting. Alan16 (talk) 13:03, 10 August 2009 (UTC).Reply

Bob Dylan

edit

Does an article on this film really need so much of a Bob Dylan song? Surely it would be enough just to say 'the film was referenced in Bob Dylan's ....'? 12:39, 3 August 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gramorak (talkcontribs)

How Hunt Bromley shoots Ringo

edit

It is a little more concocted than just "Bromley shoots Ringo in the back". Bromley knows that he'd lose a straight gunfight, but also that an outright shooting in the back would be murder. So he has to concoct a way for Ringo to draw first yet not win, which Bromley does on foot facing Ringo's back and challenging him whilst he is riding away on a horse. Ringo does then draw first and start to turn around but has no chance in that scenario of doing it in time to beat Bromley's straightforward draw, which Bromley deliberately concocted that way. The difference is relevant because it shows that Bromley spends rather a long time plotting it throughout the movie, and explains why the rather simple solution of just shooting Ringo in the back when he wasn't looking wasn't done much earlier by Bromley. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mr gobrien (talkcontribs) 20:23, 26 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
