Quality of Picture
editWhile well-intentioned, I don't think the addition of the picture of the book's cover adds much value to the article. Copyright issues permitting, a still or publicity photo from the fiilm would be better if anyone can add this. Most people's visual image of Suzie Wong is derived from the film rather than the book. Deleted Pic request
editThat image of the cover is it. That is the 1st addition cover for the infobox. Benjwong 07:38, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
Split article
editSI think there should be a separate article for the film. thoughts - AKeen 03:10, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
- Done, for goodness sake. Clarityfiend 11:25, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
- Is the picture still needed here when it's duplicated in the film article? Rodparkes 05:42, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
- Guess not. Clarityfiend 03:45, 3 July 2007 (UTC)

NPOV and unsourced comments?
editAlmost all the negative commentary (e.g. in the 'accusations of racism' section) seems to be completely from the POV of the author, with no references to back up those opinions elsewhere. I know nothing about this book and little about wikipedia editing, but I'd say someone needs to slap on some warning tags. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Destynova (talk • contribs) 20:46, 9 July 2008 (UTC)
Sequels
edit"the film, in which, unlike the novel, ends with Suzie and Robert walking off into the sunset together"
Unlike the novel? The novel ends with Robert and Suzie happily married. Paul Magnussen (talk) 05:09, 10 July 2015 (UTC)
Critical reception?
editWas the book generally well received? Did it sell well before the film came out? Is it still in print? Valetude (talk) 10:19, 25 May 2017 (UTC)
Merge proposal
editPlease use this space to discuss the proposed merge of Suzie Wong (franchise) into this article. Pinging @Fayenatic london:, who initiated the proposal. Joyous! Noise! 03:33, 6 March 2023 (UTC)
- Merge. Suzie Wong (franchise) is just a list of works with a cryptic reference to a stereotype.– Fayenatic London 08:07, 6 March 2023 (UTC)
- Support merge per nom and Fayenatic. --woodensuperman 09:44, 25 April 2023 (UTC)
