Character organizing

edit

How would you like to organize the characters?

Unfortunately the series does not indicate how important the manga characters are, whether they are just incidental to the story or whether they become critical later. If it's just the 10 anime characters, this can stay on the main article, but if it's going to be all 46 characters, it would be preferable to move them to a separate article.

Thoughts? Ideas? -AngusWOOF (talk) 22:59, 12 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Please remove Tokyo Ghoul from 'Vampire anime and manga' list and 'Vampires in animated television' list. This show is not about vempires. Thank you. אראדיה (talk) 17:09, 6 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Done Agreed, ghouls are technically not vampires, or zombies for that matter. -AngusWOOF (talk) 17:23, 6 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Not done: as you have not requested a specific change.
If you want to suggest a change, please request this in the form "Please replace XXX with YYY" or "Please add ZZZ between PPP and QQQ".
Please also cite reliable sources to back up your request, without which no information should be added to any article. - Arjayay (talk) 21:01, 19 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

notes

edit

I would like to note this: The author have been always writing it ":re" instead of "re", if "Tokyo Ghoul" was to put away.
So if "Tokyo Ghoul:re" was to change, "Tokyo Ghoul :re" may be better off than "Tokyo Ghoul: re".
This also has yet to be confirmed. Exxp (talk) 14:24, 17 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

The trailer for the sequel series has it without the spaces and with the colon so it'll probably stay as Tokyo Ghoul:re. [1] -AngusWOOF (talk) 14:32, 17 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Thanks

Thanks to whoever managed to archive the original Tokyo Ghoul schedule into Wayback. -AngusWOOF (talk) 22:03, 27 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Mishae, if you want to know. Gabriel Yuji (talk) 23:00, 27 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
Cool. that was done back on August 8. A newer snapshot was done on September 13, which archived what the final schedule looks like since the site now is starting over for reruns. -AngusWOOF (talk) 23:34, 27 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Tōru Mutsuki (六月 透, Mutsuki Tōru)
A Rank 3 Ghoul Investigator, Tōru was born with female genitalia, but after losing his family to the Ghouls, asks the CCG to be treated as a man, since he has felt uncomfortable with "being a woman for quite some time". Tōru struggles to keep his one eyed kakugan under control and has a recurring case of Anemia. Ironically, he feels repulsed when he comes in contact with blood. Despite that, he is the most diligent and reliable member of the team.

Former entry was inaccurate and used false pronuns. 94.220.215.98 (talk) 15:27, 8 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format. — {{U|Technical 13}} (etc) 15:40, 8 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Reception editing

edit

As you are well aware, this has been a great hit with the mass population of anime fanbase. Isn't it time it received a broader edition of the Reception paragraph? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 180.234.93.85 (talk) 17:09, 6 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Throughout the story, there are five characters from different regions, divided into three TV anime.2607:FEA8:FE40:7FF0:DFD:B0E2:1A25:E657 (talk) 23:24, 11 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Tokyo Ghoul:re (TV series)

edit

Sources 27, 28 are incorrect. Tokyo Ghoul:re is the third season overall of Tokyo Ghoul consisting of 2 cours. The main article of Tokyo Ghoul:re makes that very clear. Anyone who has seen Tokyo Ghoul would know. Here is a source. Google search has a lot more. 2600:6C44:117F:95BE:C57C:289F:F6C8:69BA (talk) 09:34, 21 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

A website citing an unofficial Twitter leaker account is not a reliable source, and the Comic Book report is months earlier than the other sources cited in the article calling the second part as season 2. Xexerss (talk) 11:43, 21 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
Here are four sources explicitly using "第2期" (second season) and not "第2クール" (second cour) [2] [3][4][5] Xexerss (talk) 12:07, 21 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
Also, the fact that the Tokyo Ghoul:re (TV series) article considers both seasons as one is for a practical reason, I guess, and thus not having to create two separate articles. We follow what the reliable sources cited in the article indicate, and there is nothing wrong with calling them seasons. Xexerss (talk) 12:24, 21 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
Xexerss That's fair. I agree with your point. Anyways, we need to make it clear that Tokyo Ghoul:re has 2 seasons in Tokyo Ghoul:re (TV series) (no need to create 2 separate articles). Write 1 sentence saying it consists of 2 seasons is enough. As it stands, there is conflicting information in this article and that article. It's confusing for the passing by readers like myself. 2600:6C44:117F:95BE:B5EE:7962:8AB7:40A8 (talk) 23:32, 21 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
