editFriends,
I notice the debate in "History" about my father's name. He of course had the patronymic Vladimirovich as his father's name was Vladimir. However, when he became a naturalized citzen (one of the proudest moments of his life -- he loved America) he wrote as his name "Victor Sokolov". In an article like this, it's probably fine to have the patronymic once, but it is certainly not a middle name in the American sense.
There will be an in-depth biography (almost an autobiography) posted on www.holy-trinity.org once we have a chance to edit it further.
Rev. Dn. Kirill Sokolov
