- Comment: Note to reviewers: This article was passed to Good Article status on 7 July 2022; however, I was not able to nominate this article for DYK in the time since. Per my discussion on the DYK talk page, administrators may be inclusive of this nomination as it is only three days past the seven-day timeframe. As always, I encourage alternative hook suggestions. -- West Virginian (talk) 01:15, 17 July 2022 (UTC)

Overall: I am willing to IAR the nomination for being a couple days late, with the understanding that this is a one-time exception for this editor. Z1720 (talk) 16:41, 17 July 2022 (UTC)
- Z1720, thank you for your thorough and thoughtful review, and I acknowledge and appreciate that this is a one-time exception. Thank you, sincerely. — West Virginian (talk) 23:26, 17 July 2022 (UTC)
William H Davis had a total of 5 daughters and 3 sons. His daughter, Nina Davis Alexander, and sons: Edmund, John and William preceded him in death. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.203.142.238 (talk) 17:31, 7 February 2024 (UTC)
- If you know of a reliable source that mentions the other children, we can add them. In the meantime I reworded the text to avoid implying that the named daughters were his only children. Firefangledfeathers (talk / contribs) 18:13, 7 February 2024 (UTC)
