Usage

Source: {{born in|1234}} or {{born in|{{circa|1234}}}}

Result: b. 1234 or b. c. 1234

This template generates an abbreviation "b." for "born"; it has a mouse-over tooltip explaining its meaning.

Parameters

First

This template requires an unnamed parameter representing a year (or range of years). It puts a non-breaking space in between the "b." and the number, which prevents web browsers from inserting a line break there.

Circa

This template has no function to add a "c." (for "circa"), so the template {{c.}} can instead be embedded.
