Removing wikipedia infoboxes from search abstracts.
editHi. You may be familiar with Wikipedia, a free encyclopedia. Results from Wikipedia tend to feature high in your search results. Wikipedia uses "infoboxes" to summarize technical information on some subjects. Although useful for humans, these infoboxes make the Yahoo Search abstracts for these pages appear nonsensical and with redundant information. I.e. searching for "Neon Genesis Evangelion" brings up

It names the subject of the article three times and defines Wikipedia two times. Still, it fails to define the subject of the article.

It would be better if information encolsed in <table class="infobox bordered"> tags and certain other information like disambiguation information was ommitted from the abstract. Could you do this?
