I am a retired software engineer, who spent 30 years building operating systems, and now teach OS and Software Engineering (at a few LA area universities).
My mission/agenda is to help the Wikipedia articles in those areas evolve to the point where they are as pedagogically useful as the introductory chapters in standard texts. This means adding topics, filling things out and improving explanations.
In many cases, this means adding a great deal of text, and I will surely make mistakes ... but I'm eager to get them fixed.
The wikipedia is wonderful, and I want to help it become what it can be.
