Matthew, I came to your user page to offer some advice and found this, so here goes. I felt that your questioning of nearly every other users comment on the Japanese Princess's AfD was a bit over the top. You are entitled to ask a question of course, but remember, they are also entitled to an opinion, and votes at AfD are frequently matters of opinion rather than black and white points of law. You came across as badgering which would make some people uncomfortable. You did the same thing here to a lesser degree.
I would suggest you back off a bit and if people have a different point of view, respect that and move on. Consider that people very rarely change their vote after casting it, so it tends to make you look bad.
One other minor thing is to watch your spelling. The odd typo here and there is OK (and I make plenty), but I personally find it slightly off-putting if they're in nearly every sentence. Slow down a bit and read before saving, and if you need to, go back and fix. Good spelling and good grammar will give people a much higher opinion of your opinions and ideas.
I've seen you doing lots of good work and don't wish to discourage you, so I hope you take this as constructive criticism. Regards -- I@n 09:53, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you for your suggestions and comments. They will be taken into heavy consideration. thanks/Fenton, Matthew Lexic Dark 52278 Alpha 771 10:20, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
