Hello!
I am trying to ring in the new year with as much joy and positivity as possible. I love editing on Wikipedia and found this last year to be very challenging in real life, while Wikipedia has (in contrast to real life) instead become like a bit of a stress outlet for me. If you find me sending large volumes of 'Happy New Years' greetings, keep the following in mind. I am simply using the following template that I came across— {{subst:Happy New Year fireworks}} and I have found that 99.99% of people really enjoy receiving this greeting and wish of wellness for them for the new year. I do also have a bit of an autistic/aspergers aspect to me, though never officially diagnosed (even my parents have long since believed I am) so if I seem like a bot at times, I can assure you that I am NOT, I am just editing really, REALLY quickly! Though at most that means maybe ~5 or so greetings per minute (so maybe not THAT quickly?). I have a select list of those that I wish to send a greeting to, based on their valuable contributions to the encyclopedia over the past year. If you did not make 'the list' feel free to just trout me and ask for a greeting and I'll happily send one your way.
