NHS Supply Chain is a managed service that was let by the NHS Business Services Authority and awarded to DHL. The organisation's role is to provide a dedicated supply chain to the National Health Service (NHS) in England.
History
editThe 10 year contract for the venture was signed in September 2006 and became active in October 2006. The formation of NHS Supply Chain amalgamated serviced that were provided by the NHS Logistics (previously NHS Logistics Authority ) and some elements of NHS Purchase and Supply Agency.
