GAN's
Hi, I've reviewed apair of GAN's nominated by you. You have a week or so to fix these issues, but I'd be nice IMO to get them done ASAP. Cheers and happy editing. YE Pacific Hurricane 04:24, 21 October 2012 (UTC)

Re:Winter Storm Athena
Well it looks like something in that manner will be needed since those idiots at TWC can't leave it up to NOAA to decide. United States Man (talk) 03:50, 8 November 2012 (UTC)
- Yep. If people and news broadcasters are warming up to these names, we will need to continue to create these articles. I actually like the TWC, they can be annoying sometimes to many, but they do have very accurate information. ST✪12 16:37, 8 November 2012 (UTC)
Winter Storm Brutus
I noticed that you were a part of the Winter Storm Athena/2012-13 U.S. winter storm season fiasco. So, I thought you would like to stop by Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Winter Storm Brutus and offer your input. Thanks, United States Man (talk) 04:00, 19 November 2012 (UTC)
Sky city
Hello,
I noticed that you were involved in WikiProject Skyscrapers, and I thought you could help me. I am trying to take Skycity to DYK, considering what an interesting hook it will make. For which, I intend to expand the article as much as I can (to meet DYK expansion standards). For this I request your help to expanding the article and making it a truly great hook.
I am trying to keep all edits at User:TheOriginalSoni/Sky city so that we have more than the traditional 7 days to finish this hook. Hope you shall help!!!
Thanks and cheers!! TheOriginalSoni (talk) 18:15, 2 December 2012 (UTC)

- Howdy Otto, probably best if you attend class! Sent this invite to Wikipedians in Montana, and WikiProject Montana folks; we're doing a Geonotice too. Since you already know how to edit, would you like to try organizing a regular Wikipedia meetup sometime this week when you're not in school? Any cafe with WiFi (or the Library) would work. If you know folks who want to learn to edit (like my Mom :) we can invite them in person ... as well as online. One nice thing about Wikipedia is it's great for having all ages public events. Djembayz (talk) 20:42, 27 December 2012 (UTC)
I disagree with your edits to the aforementioned article. It's about current names in those basin, not historical names, so Tip, Ioke, whatnot have no place there. Also, watch for overlinking. We're not supposed to be creating a gallery. Cheers! :)
- Check out the discussion I started on that talk page. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 15:39, 29 December 2012 (UTC)
- Sorry for my tone. I was a little annoyed because you reverted my change with, IMO, little reason. Believe me, I wouldn't try getting you blocked over something as silly as that! Hah. I didn't mean any hard feelings, and I hope I didn't offend you too much. --♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 22:40, 29 December 2012 (UTC)
- Meh, it's fine. Do we agree with the new changes? ST✪12 02:24, 30 December 2012 (UTC)

- I don't. I think there should be a wide variety in intensities, and that there should only be one per naming set. --♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 04:06, 30 December 2012 (UTC)
Aus 2012-13
Im afraid Freda comes before Mitchell since the BoM called it 03U, However once a couple more insignifcant systems form im planning to do an Other Storms section since its just a waste giving Freda its own section, on the Aus season.Jason Rees (talk) 18:57, 16 January 2013 (UTC)

Two concerns
Hello, Otto.
I have two concerns regarding several edits you have made to a few Pacific hurricane season articles:
- When you added that detailed paragraph about the Central Pacific names to the 1992, 1994, 2002, and 2009 season articles (1, 2, 3, and 4) (which I happened to write myself on the 2013 season article), you implied that "only" three Central Pacific names were used in one of the sentences. The purpose of this portion of my message is to ask whether or not you would be okay with me changing the sentences in those articles to something similar to The next four names that were slated for use in 1994 are shown below. Three of them - Li, Mele, and Nona, were used throughout the year, because only six Pacific hurricane seasons have had three or more names used from the Central Pacific naming lists since the Central Pacific Hurricane Center instituted them in 1982 (1982 itself (which had four names used), 1984, 1992, 1994, 2002, and 2009) and the use of the word "only" makes it seem it is fairly common for three or more names to be used from the Central Pacific naming lists. In conclusion, I believe my hypothesis would give the reader more sense to the frequency of how often Central Pacific names are used.
- Additionally, I noticed that the 1982-1990 Pacific hurricane seasons still have the "old" format for explaining the Central Pacific names (For example, take a look at the storm names section for the 1990 season to get my point here). I would also like to ask if I can "continue" your "project" of adding the detailed paragraph currently on the 1992-2013 season articles (the 1991 season articles does not have a storm names section).
I know I could have just did these edits myself without asking you (per WP:BOLD), but I wanted to make sure you were okay with them because you edited the articles slightly different than I did. I apologize for any confusion I have caused in my message, such as the excessive detail in it.
P.S. Just in case you reconigze my IP, I am user Andrew444 on the Hurricane and Simcity Hurricanes Wiki, but I am not registered on Wikipedia (for proof, this is the best evidence I probably can give you).
Thank you for reading my concerns.
Sincerely, 68.113.150.172 (talk) 02:10, 8 February 2013 (UTC)
Re:Timeline
Not a bad idea, and while I think it would work (there is a template for that), the issue of using mouse click itself has been raised up at WP:FLC before. I think we short list the intensity (C1) on the actual color bar, which won't be hard to do. YE Pacific Hurricane
- Thanks for answering back about it. I'm pretty sure this plan could go through. Just putting "(C1)" instead of their intensity is good too. Hopefully the WP:FLC won't get in the way with this. ST✪12 01:27, 23 April 2013 (UTC)
LOHTCN
Hi Otto, While the season is over for Aus/SPAC it is too early to say that Alessia or Ian will be used as the first name next season for certain since the TC year for the region is not over until July 1. However you may add if you wished to the names for the SWIO 2013-14 and 2014-15 since the names have been available for a while now.Jason Rees (talk) 23:31, 6 May 2013 (UTC)
