"I hate politics and what are considered their appropriate measures. I hate notoriety, public meetings, public speeches, caucuses and everything that I know of which is apparently the necessary incident of politics—except doing public work to the best of my ability." - John Abbott.

The more I interact with this alleged Encyclopedia, the more I realize that "The New Skeptic" is right.

No wonder people come and go here, if you don't know all the rules and regulations by your first edit and you make some mistakes, whether typographical, procedural, or even factual, you get others who right away jump down your throat and start accusing you of vandalism, or hiding from the truth, or what-not. Yet their actions of harassment, uncooperative demeanor, and non-fact editing goes unnoticed due to their "Evasion and Diversion Tactics" to manipulate events. Distraction from one's actions and inability to "play nice" should not be the norm here.

Time will tell if my experiences of late are the norm or just a small subset of the users, and that will dictate my continued participation.
