The trident (triśūlābija maṇḍalam), symbol and yantra of Parama Shiva, representing the triadic energies of parā, parā-aparā and aparā śakti

This is a private workspace used for research notes collection and article development. My main interest is in Kashmir Shaivism and consciousness studies.

I encourage you to contact me for philosophical debates, questions and joining efforts in publishing new Kashmir Shaivism articles. Please do not edit my notes, instead, post on the dedicated discussion page.

My bibliography

Articles I created or substantially contributed on

edit
  • The 36 tattvas
    • important - to mark the correspondence Tattva-Varna
    • is not homogeneous; some sections are skeletal while other are hyper developed
    • at the end, in the section of pure tattvas, we need more research and information
    • might have gone overboard with some tattvas, compiling too much background info; however, the lower 20 tattvas have never been treated in depth in the specialized publications which is a pity; we could have called them the 16 tattvas for all that matters, since only the tattvas from Manas to Śiva are discussed in detail elsewhere
  • Kaśmir Śaivism
    • History & Lineage of K.S. -> external articles
    • Important works
    • Important concepts -> external articles
