The Wikipedia drinking game is an excuse for drinking large amounts of alcoholic beverage while hanging around wikipedia. It is intended only as some light entertainment and should not be taken seriously. If you take offence at any of the entries on the list, take one sip. Repeat until you no longer feel offended.

The rules

Start by opening your watchlist. If you have fewer than 5000 items on your watchlist, you may also want to open Special:Recentchanges. Hit refresh when you feel like it, and each time one of the events listed below occurs, drink the specified amount of your beverage.

The events

One sip

These are events that occur frequently. Take one sip.

You tag a Stub.
Someone blasts PHP with spam links.
You put the {{test}} template on someone's talk page.
Someone adds an insult to the George Bush article.
Vandalism remains on a page for any time longer than five minutes.

Two sips

These events occur less often. Take two sips.

Someone vandalises your user page.

Three sips

These events are even less common, but still happen on a regular basis. Take three sips

Someone gets blocked for violating the three revert rule.
Jimbo makes an edit to an article.

Finish your drink

These events are extremely rare. Finish your drink and ponder what the world is coming to.
