Richard Sliverwood Vandal

edit

Please help, my recent edit to Richard silverwood was reverted by Bradv for no reason, while it was messy I put cleanup there so it could be improved and sources added not reverted this was vandalism or a annoying joke,

Keep Editing

As near as I can tell, your edits were reverted because you provided no reference to verify the information you added/changed. You can't just say "this is truth, go find some sources!" You yourself must provide those sources. If you are unsure about changing something on a page, use the Talk page to discuss it with other interested editors. You'll notice that the page now has references to verify the fact that he has retired. If you want more help, stop by the Teahouse, Wikipedia's live help channel, or the help desk to ask someone for assistance. Primefac (talk) 19:09, 30 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

I would like to quote my edit description partially "source BBC" this is refence and anyone could see this on the bbc's rugby league section I used cleanup to ask for the source to be linked in and it professionalised, please help further

I'm honestly not sure what sort of help you're looking for; his retirement has been added to the page. As for the references, saying "go see BBC's page" is NOT a valid reference, because the BBC is a huge organization and their website is massive. You have to give a specific website URL if you want to use something as a reference. Primefac (talk) 19:46, 30 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

BLOCK HIM

calm

edit

Thanks for your attempts to improve the article - I get your upset, but its all ok now. Wikipedia is like that, takes a bit of time to work itself out x and correct the facts Govindaharihari (talk) 20:59, 30 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

User should not be without reason removing info, did you question something with him about this article? So if it's more than once ban him for a day it's not working its self out, it's vandalism, I want help I got the opposite. Removing information that is not adequately sourced is not vandalism, and "source=BBC/GOOGLE" is not specific enough, particularly for an article about a living person.
If your edit is reverted, the first thing to do is discuss the issue on the article talk page and try to reach WP:Consensus - please read WP:BOLD, revert, discuss cycle to see how Wikipedia works. JohnCD (talk) 11:25, 31 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
