Dune: Messiah (film) moved to draftspace

edit

Thanks for your contributions to Dune: Messiah (film). Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because Draft:Untitled Dune: Part Two sequel is far better developed and referenced, and a final decision on the title apparently hasn't been made yet. The poster is also clearly marked as fan-made.. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit for review" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Wikishovel (talk) 22:30, 28 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

Undiscussed article page moves

edit

Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow, or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus, as you did to User:Never Flinch. This includes making page moves while a discussion remains underway. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 01:14, 30 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

Regarding the Backrooms film

edit

Hi, I noticed that you’re trying to create a new article for The Backrooms (film) after your previous version was made into a redirect. First, I wanted to inform you that there already is a draft for that article at Draft:The Backrooms (film). If you like you could make improvements there. Second, it was previously decided by other editors that it was best to wait until filming has begun before we have an article for the film as there is little info about the film’s production. We ask that you wait before creating the article. User:Rusted AutoParts,User:Wikishovel,User:Not0nshoree Key limes (talk) 20:39, 2 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

Ways to improve Skye Riley (fictional character)

edit

Hello, Akariprescott,

Thank you for creating Skye Riley (fictional character).

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

Is an article on one character from a minor film really warranted? Would this not be better a couple of lines in the article on Smile 2?

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Bastun}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

Hello!
Smile 2 isn't actually a minor film, especially when it comes to social media platforms. It has garnered 90.7 million in the box office to this date, with the movie still remaining in theaters. A blockbuster is a movie that exceeds 100 million, which Smile 2 is fairly close to. I made this page for the people who wanted to know more about the character herself rather than the movie. Skye Riley is considered a pretty high-status character on platforms like TikTok and Instagram. By making this page, people can search for the character's details and won't have to scroll through the movie article to find it. I also think that filling a big chunk of the movie article looks unprofessional, since it will then reach an absurd amount of information.
I get your confusion, though. Akariprescott (talk) 15:41, 15 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

MOS:CITIZEN

Regarding your edits to Lupita Nyong'o, please read MOS:CITIZEN. Nyong'o's situation is complex, which is why it's explained in the subsequent paragraph in the lede. OhNoitsJamie Talk 17:11, 27 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

As you obviously haven't the slightest intention of abiding by our policies around proper sourcing of content, I have blocked you indefinitely. I would oppose any unblock unless you agree to a WP:TOPICBAN around genres and unless you agree to properly WP:CITE (with reliable sources) all future edits. --Yamla (talk) 21:10, 3 January 2025 (UTC)Reply
