editOn 26 September 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Fedora (short story), which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that one commentator interpreted a kiss between two women in "Fedora" as possibly following the "heteronormative script"? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Fedora (short story). You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Fedora (short story)), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

About temporary subpages
editHope you don't mind me jumping in on your user talk page to answer your question. I just wanted to confirm that yes, your use of the temporary subpage was completely valid, and g8 did not apply. Sometimes admins do delete things out of process, (they're all human, after all), so it's good that you asked! It's true that it may be more common nowadays for people to use their userspace for drafting changes to existing articles, it's by no means required and lots of users choose not to. They even have the same reasons you do - because they feel it encourages collaboration in a way that userspace drafts do not!
One thing you do want to watch out for those is that you're following our copyright rules. You can find these here at WP:CWW, but tl;dr: when you copy text from any other Wikipedia page, provide a link to the source of the text in your edit summary. If you forget, make a dummy edit and add the link in that edit summary. This applies to all namespaces- article, draft, user, ect., but it's not obvious in cases like this so I just wanted to let you know. Happy editing!
