Pongal marks the first day of January according to Tamil calendar and wish you a great start in this festival of harvest. In Tamil they say, தை பிறந்தால் வழி பிறக்கும் and hope it marks beginning of a fresh year where we move on from past and make up for the mistakes by changing the way of thinking. You will experience enormous joy and happiness by celebrating this festival, a pride as far as the Tamilians are concerned when it comes to this particular festival. Pongal festival marks a glimmer of hope by helping to bring an influx of positive thoughts and vibes.
