editPlease refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continual disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Inserting and reinserting excessive and trivial material based on questionable sources is disruptive. This is not Wikia: material needs to be properly verified, well-written, and relevant. And just shoving it back in without any kind of explanation is rude. Drmies (talk) 22:56, 18 June 2018 (UTC)

Your edits are in danger of being removed
editYou have added a lot of material to Wikipedia since May 2018, but you never include citations to support your edits, nor do you ever include an edit summary to explain your work. Wikipedia requires citations — they are essential — therefore anything you add without a proper reference may be removed at any time. It is also Wikipedia established practice to include edit summaries describing how your edit has changed an article. Please review the policies Citing sources and Edit summaries and learn how to add citations and edit summaries if you do not want any of your edits to be reversed or content removed. Thank you. — O'Dea (talk) 21:51, 18 January 2019 (UTC)

editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Fred Newman (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

editHello, Bladerunner09
Thank you for creating Bugs Bunny's Birthday Ball.
User:TheTechnician27, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:
I believe this article was wrongfully approved at AfC. While the prose and formatting are good, the article crucially rests entirely on one citation, and that citation is user-submitted content on TV Tropes. I see this as a promising article were it to be populated with adequate references, but there's a very good reason why wikis aren't allowed as a source, and without it, this article is left completely uncited. Recommend WP:DRAFTIFY, as AfC clearly moved this into the mainspace too early.

editPlease stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, you may be blocked from editing. You were asked before, by RandomCanadian, to stop inserting trivial material sourced only to YouTube--but you are still doing it, as your edits in Popeye and Betty Rubble prove. Linking some commercial or whatever in the infobox under "portrayer" is absolutely unencyclopedic--as I noted earlier, you are making Wikia style edits. Please stop. editHello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits to Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner while logged out. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting and doing so may result in your account being blocked from editing. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. Thank you. Lord Belbury (talk) 13:30, 1 August 2022 (UTC)

Popeye actors
editHi Bladerunner09, I see that you added "Mike O'Malley voiced [character] in an audiobook for Popeye and the Ghosk of Ghoulie Grange" on every major Popeye character's infobox. I don't think that is a notable production. It's just a YouTube video, not a published audiobook. Either way, it wouldn't be as important as the voice actors who perform the characters in the actual cartoons and films. Let me know if you have any thoughts. editHi Bladerunner09 I don’t know what to say do you know who’s currently doing Daws Butler’s Characters Now my guess would be Jeff Bergman who’s currently doing a lot of Daws Butler’s Characters Now I don’t know why other voice actors like Rob Paulsen Jim Cummings or Tom Kenny don’t voices Daws Butler’s Characters for some strange reason I don’t know who currently voices Daws Butler’s characters and Don Messick’s Characters and many other Hanna Barbera Voice Actors who originally Them don’t voiced them. edit@Bladerunner09: You seem to be a heavy of social media as references. I reviewed the article The Beano's Dennis the Menace and Gnasher Show which contained far too much of that. They are not reliable sources. scope_creepTalk 11:12, 1 September 2024 (UTC)

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on List of Horrid Henry characters requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Horrid Henry characters. If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Speedy deletion nomination of A Political Cartoon
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on A Political Cartoon requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://mysuperendeavour.uk/2019/09/26/a-political-cartoon/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
Hi Bladerunner09! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at James K. Morrow that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 19:30, 22 December 2024 (UTC)

. Are the words on your blog not your own words? -- asilvering (talk) 19:38, 24 December 2024 (UTC)- @Asilvering Their blog is copyrighted. Once their “own word” appears in the blog, it becomes copyrighted. So, whether they actually wrote it there or not, the texts becomes copyrighted and as such they have to write in another of their “own word” that is not their “own word” from the blog post. Vanderwaalforces (talk) 20:06, 24 December 2024 (UTC)
- Regarding
Their blog is copyrighted. Once their “own word” appears in the blog, it becomes copyrighted. So, whether they actually wrote it there or not, the texts becomes copyrighted
...sure? But if I write something on my hypothetical blog, and then I post it on Wikipedia and agree to release it under CC-BY-SA when I do so, then that's fine. Creative Commons-licensed works are frequently copyrighted; that's, for example, the only way to enforce the sharealike condition. So,as such they have to write in another of their “own word” that is not their “own word” from the blog post
isn't necessarily true. - Provided that we have evidence that this person runs the blog, and doesn't lose copyrights/rights to issue new non-exclusive copyright licenses when posting from that blog, I see no reason why this would be a licensing issue. We'd just need that evidence (such as through a VRT ticket), and we'd be A-OK. — Red-tailed hawk (nest) 20:38, 28 December 2024 (UTC)
- @Red-tailed hawk I think the best way to do this is license the blog itself, or the text of that particular webpage under CC-BY-SA 4.0/3.0. I mean, with that, you don't need no VRT ticket or any private evidence. Like I said, it does not make sense for me to think that because it is your blog, then it can be fine to agree to release it under CC-BY-SA when there is not clear copyright status of a website's content. I usually assume it is best to think that a website is copyrighted if there is no clear copyright status, be it a one-man blog or not, than to think that it is not. Vanderwaalforces (talk) 22:06, 28 December 2024 (UTC)
- I agree that it being published elsewhere first creates a presumption that it's non-free if there is no license apparent, and that having a license on that website itself would be the gold standard. But VRT would also work, should the individual not want to do that. — Red-tailed hawk (nest) 22:08, 28 December 2024 (UTC)
- That's right. Vanderwaalforces (talk) 22:10, 28 December 2024 (UTC)

- Indeed, hence my skepticism that the copyrighted content is from the editor's own blog. @Bladerunner09, if these are all your original works, you can release the copyright as CC BY-SA, or see WP:DONATETEXT for other options. You have to do this before putting the text on wikipedia. -- asilvering (talk) 23:07, 24 December 2024 (UTC)
- Ah, I'm also reminded that some of this was translation copyvio from Japanese sources. So, @Newyorkbrad, sorry, I don't find this explanation sufficient for unblock. @Bladerunner09, please be aware that copying text from a non-English source, translating that text (by machine or otherwise), and using that text in a Wikipedia article, that is also a form of copyright violation, and we can't do that for copyrighted sources. -- asilvering (talk) 16:41, 26 December 2024 (UTC)
