List of FA and GA
Do you have a list of your FA or GA available so I can look it up? Thanks! (please ping me or reply in my Spanish user page) Triplecaña (talk) 09:50, 1 June 2018 (UTC)
- @Triplecaña: Sure, here is a list. The articles where I have the most contributions, like Construction of Rockefeller Center, have asterisks after them. epicgenius (talk) 14:00, 1 June 2018 (UTC)
A barnstar for you!
The Brilliant Idea Barnstar | |
You are doing an amazing job on your series of New York Subway articles! The latest, Signaling of the New York City Subway, goes so in-depth on a subject that most people probably never think of, but which is obviously crucial to the subway operation. Keep up the great work! Yoninah (talk) 12:18, 1 June 2018 (UTC) |
- @Yoninah: Thanks for the barnstar! I wouldn't have done it without the help of editors like Kew Gardens 613 and Tdorante10, who helped expand this and other subway articles. epicgenius (talk) 14:00, 1 June 2018 (UTC)

On 5 June 2018, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Signaling of the New York City Subway, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Signaling of the New York City Subway. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Signaling of the New York City Subway), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. AirTrain JFK
Hello:
The copy edit that you requested from the Guild of Copy Editors of the article AirTrain JFK has been completed. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
Regards, Twofingered Typist (talk) 13:04, 6 June 2018 (UTC)
- I meant to add a comment/suggestion. The AirTrain System Map in the Route section is virtually unreadable. I wonder if there is another version, or a diffefrent map that might be used to replace it? Just a thought. Twofingered Typist (talk) 20:31, 6 June 2018 (UTC)
- @Twofingered Typist: I'll look for another version, but if not, I'll probably replace the image with {{maplink}} instead. epicgenius (talk) 20:54, 6 June 2018 (UTC)

Why did you remove the source on 3 World Trade Center?

- @HorsesAreNice: Because of WP:INFOBOXCITE:
References are acceptable in some cases, but generally not needed in infoboxes if the content is repeated (and cited) elsewhere or if the information is obvious.
The reference is already included in the rest of the article. epicgenius (talk) 20:47, 8 June 2018 (UTC)

PATH
I love your work on the PATH articles. I have 29 PATHWAY Newspapers that PATH issued detailing what was new. When I have time, I could use them to add historical information. This could be a start for a History of the PATH article.--Kew Gardens 613 (talk) 14:18, 13 June 2018 (UTC)
- @Kew Gardens 613: Thanks. I appreciate it. I hope to split off the history section sometime because the article is getting pretty large. epicgenius (talk) 18:14, 13 June 2018 (UTC)

Ridership update should be expected in July
I attended the MTA committee meetings on Monday for the first time and heard that there will be a ridership report next month. I would expect the subway ridership to be updated then.--Kew Gardens 613 (talk) 14:01, 20 June 2018 (UTC)
- @Kew Gardens 613: It's very cool that you went to the meeting (I wish I could go one day). On the other hand, it's pretty alarming that the MTA is now delaying the ridership report by three months. I guess we'll have to wait until then. Thanks for the update. epicgenius (talk) 14:23, 20 June 2018 (UTC)
- I was able to talk to Jose Martinez, and we both agree that the MTA is likely looking for a way to make the ridership numbers not look as bad. They used to be released in February, then March, April, May and now July. You are welcome. I am creating a list of abandoned stations in New York City without articles at User:Kew Gardens 613/sandbox 10. Do you know of any that I am missing? Some of these can be sections on existing subway/railroad articles. Thanks again.--Kew Gardens 613 (talk) 14:35, 20 June 2018 (UTC)
- @Kew Gardens 613: I guess that for the MTA, it's pretty bad that the subway lost 35 million riders. Pretty embarrassing to say that the subway shed 2% of its total ridership to Uber and Lyft. Yes, I'll help out with the abandoned-stations list. It's surprising that the Atlantic Branch has so many abandoned stations, though apparently they all did exist. epicgenius (talk) 14:42, 20 June 2018 (UTC)
- It was a horsecar/streetcar line for a few decades after steam-powered trains were banned.--Kew Gardens 613 (talk) 14:44, 20 June 2018 (UTC)
- That makes sense. Thanks. epicgenius (talk) 14:51, 20 June 2018 (UTC)
