Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 20:37, 11 November 2024 (UTC)Wikipedia and primary sources
editWikipedia articles are meant to be based primary on reliable independent secondary sources. (WP:RS). When you changed the date given by the Heritage NZ report (a secondary source) for a primary source (a newspaper article from 1898) in Grey Lynn you not only contravened that policy you also introduced an error. A lot of history related edits you have made rely far too heavily on primary sources. Traumnovelle (talk) 19:47, 15 November 2024 (UTC)
- The book source is great however, please keep adding content based on that and I'd appreciate if you could add any information contained to Draft:Grey Lynn Council Chambers and Fire Station if it exists. Traumnovelle (talk) 19:51, 15 November 2024 (UTC)

editHi @Ewhite31: Don't post sales information anywhere on Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not shop. It is completely unacceptable. scope_creepTalk 09:05, 19 November 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for removing those links; it was not my intention to include them to promote sales, just as links to images of her artworks. Ewhite31 (talk) 16:26, 26 November 2024 (UTC)
DYK for Symonds St Public Conveniences and Former Tram Shelter
editOn 29 November 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Symonds St Public Conveniences and Former Tram Shelter, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the first standalone street toilets to cater to both men and women in Auckland were converted into a male-only facility during the Second World War? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Symonds St Public Conveniences and Former Tram Shelter. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Symonds St Public Conveniences and Former Tram Shelter), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
