Wikipedia and primary sources

Wikipedia articles are meant to be based primary on reliable independent secondary sources. (WP:RS). When you changed the date given by the Heritage NZ report (a secondary source) for a primary source (a newspaper article from 1898) in Grey Lynn you not only contravened that policy you also introduced an error. A lot of history related edits you have made rely far too heavily on primary sources. Traumnovelle (talk) 19:47, 15 November 2024 (UTC)
