Admission of a student in "Germanic Nation", University of Bologna, 15th century

Hello, Free2cdatruth and welcome to Wikipedia! It appears you are participating in a class project. If you haven't done so already, we encourage you to go through our training for students. Your instructor or professor may wish to set up a course page, if your class doesn't already have one.

Go through our online training for students.

If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Helpme}} before the question. Please also read this helpful advice for students.

Before you create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.

It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}} on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know this article is a subject of an educational assignment and should be treated accordingly.

We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay even after your assignment is finished! Invertzoo (talk) 21:57, 16 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia!

edit

I came across your new article Phaeohyphomycosis; Wildlife Disease this morning. Thanks for your efforts! I have a bunch of things to tell you and can help you out a lot. Just a reminder: WIkipedia is above all a community effort, so keeping in touch with community members and responding to their messages is a necessary part of the process on Wikipedia. Back soon with more info, Invertzoo (talk) 13:34, 16 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Important info for your professor

edit

Would you please tell your teacher ASAP that it would be a good idea if he/she set up a course page here on WIkipedia which identifies: the user names of the instructor; the ambassador(s) (if they exist); the user names of the students; which articles the students are planning to work on (even if they don't yet exist); and the locations of any draft versions (such as the user's sandbox). The Wikipedia info page about this whole process is here. You guys can read through that page too. Invertzoo Thanks! (talk) 13:44, 16 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Individual accounts

edit

Please see WP:NOSHARE. According to the edit summary when the article was started, it appears to be the case that Mikko Moy, Kiara Johnson, Yolanda Fish, Olivia Andrus, and Stephen Backus are all using this one shared account to edit Wikipedia as part of a student assignment. I just wanted to explain that on Wikipedia, every person is supposed to have their own separate account so we know who makes which edit. Wikipedia policy says, "a user account should be used only by one person". Shared accounts are actually not permitted here: "Each student editor should register his or her own editor account. Under no circumstances should more than one student edit under the same account."

My suggestion would be that this account should now become the account for just one of the students, and the others open their own individual accounts. Then all five of you can continue to work together with your separate identities. Sorry to dump this all in your laps, but that is the policy here. Finished?

edit

Can I ask: as of November 19th, is your class assignment finished? Or do you intend to work on it some more? Thanks for your work in contributing to Wikipedia, Invertzoo (talk) 19:04, 19 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Update: The new article has been merged with the older stub, and most of the needed improvements have now been done to the new article. It could of course still benefit from improving, but it is OK to stand as it is right now. The new title is just Phaeohyphomycosis. Best. Invertzoo (talk) 15:35, 22 November 2013 (UTC)Reply
