Managing a conflict of interest

edit

Hello, Gold Junior. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Simon Davou Mwadkwon, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Tacyarg (talk) 17:53, 14 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

@Tacyarg I don't know why there's been a pushback to my editings on Simon Mwadkwon in quick succession even after I have abided by every rules governing Wikipedia edit policies and absolutely haven't stepped out of line on the editorial exercise regarding Simon Mwadkwon.
what I edited is a story that happened, not that it didn't happen or I concocted it. Gold Junior (talk) 21:17, 14 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Hi, thanks for your reply. Every statement on Wikipedia should be referenced to reliable sources, especially in articles about living people. Also, you uploaded a photograph tagged as your own work - do you know, work for or represent Mwadkwon? Tacyarg (talk) 00:09, 15 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Tacyarg I edited 100-percent reliably-sourced materials(including pictures on public domain not copyrighted under any law). I do not work for Mwadkwon. I work to push the frontiers of Global Commons.
so can I return back my edits? Gold Junior (talk) 02:09, 15 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Hi, thanks for the response. Is the photograph correctly tagged as taken by you? Tacyarg (talk) 08:47, 15 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Daser David moved to draftspace

edit

Thanks for your contributions to Daser David. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Uspti (talk) 06:33, 8 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

@Uspti a Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Hannah Ryder has been relisted twice and the quality of the sourcing a major focus. if you could help with a review and add a comment which would help . Gold Junior (talk) 21:02, 1 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Development Reimagined

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Development Reimagined, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Gronk Oz (talk) 05:28, 9 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

@Gronk Oz this is not my first article. I am not doing a promotion for the article which was deleted on that grounds . the source or the summary what is promotional about it? Gold Junior (talk) 17:53, 9 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Sorry that this happened to your article. I can't see the article any more now that it has been deleted, but really it was full of promotional expressions and virtually no neutral statements of fact. If you would like to challenge the deletion, or perhaps request to have the article reinstated as a Draft so you can work on making it more neutral before publishing it again, you should contact the Administrator who deleted it, who is Deb. In the meantime, you might find it helpful to read this short article that outlines what is seen as promotional material at Wikipedia: WP:PROMOTION. I hope this helps. Hannah Ryder moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Hannah Ryder, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. @Deb please the Hannah Ryder article was and is not promotional or an explicit advert material, the topic is a subject I barely know personally. it is an article I have researched fairly. highlight the advertisement or publicity in my article?! Gold Junior (talk) 21:26, 12 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Deb I beg to disagree this time with the undoing of this page. the references cited in this article are independent, reliable eg Reuters, Financial Times, China Global Television Network. please this recurring
vetoing of this article needs to be explain to me in step by step detail Gold Junior (talk) 23:57, 12 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
There's no vetoing. You just need to write the article in accordance with the guidelines. Your version reads like a CV. Deb (talk) 07:59, 13 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Deb the page has been reviewed from the mail I received from wikipedia . I am confused seeing this message from you after the wikipedia message Gold Junior (talk) 08:14, 13 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
What mail are you talking about? I can't see your e-mails. Deb (talk) 09:20, 13 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Deb at 2:32 am I received a wikipedia message about the Hannah Ryder page has been reviewed. I suppose this means the Is have been dotted and Ts cross in respect to the page Gold Junior (talk) 10:32, 13 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Are you talking about an e-mail? The fact that something has been reviewed by one person doesn't mean it won't be deleted when others look at it. Sometimes reviewers are quite new users who aren't yet familiar with all the guidelines. Either way, a version of the article (but not the version you created) is now subject to a deletion discussion. And you still haven't declared your COI on your user page. Deb (talk) 10:49, 13 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Deb ok. I have one question ? what is the current status of the page ? Gold Junior (talk) 11:43, 13 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
I just told you. It's been nominated for deletion and is being discussed at the link I gave you above. Deb (talk) 12:25, 13 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Deb I have joined in the discussion with my contributions for the deletion to be reconsidered having seen the neutral positions that has been added in the article . thanks Gold Junior (talk) 12:30, 13 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Your account has been blocked indefinitely for advertising or promotion and violating the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use. This is because you have been making promotional edits to topics in which you have a financial stake, yet you have failed to adhere to the mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a form of conflict of interest (COI) editing which involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is strictly prohibited. Using this site for advertising or promotion is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia.

If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, please read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the end of your user talk page. For that request to be considered, you must:

  • Confirm that you have read and understand the Terms of Use and paid editing disclosure requirements.
  • State clearly how you are being compensated for your edits, and describe any affiliation or conflict of interest you might have with the subjects you have written about.
  • Describe how you intend to edit such topics in the future.
