SeaTac

Hey just wondering...you have Horizon Air at SeaTac going SEA-STS-LAX. Same plane and flight number. But that American also goes SEA-DFW-IAD. So why does it not count? ZHoover123 13:33, 5 January 2011 (UTC)

ZHoover, see WP:AIRPORTS. The reason LAX is listed since STS is not a hub or focus city for Horizon Air. IAD for American is not listed because the flight makes a stop at an AA hub (which is DFW) and DFW happens to be AA's largest hub. So no thru-hub direct flights are to be listed. Thanks Snoozlepet. The reasoning of Wikiproject criteria is whether the airline is really flying direct or just playing with flight numbers. STS is so small, what comes in must go out and it either continues or returns. But when an AA flight flies into DFW, you can't guarantee what they'll do to the plane. Buffalo Niagara International Airport

An IP is getting very confused is which carrier is Shuttle America flying for when it begins service to Newark. They keep listing the flight as Continental Express where as Shuttle America does not fly for Continental Express. Their website, schedules, booking engines for BUF-EWR for March 6 reflect as OPERATED BY SHUTTLE AMERICA DBA AS UNITED EXPRESS. However, the flight will operate from CO gates instead. Thanks! Inserting pictures

Ok it helped a little bit. I got the picture uploaded to Wikipedia. Here's a link to it: [1]. It's entirely my own work. • The first section of an article is for the most basic information about the subject. The list of Chinese unrests is not appropriate in this section.
• You should also watch your grammar and spelling so you don't have a bunch of capital letters for non-proper names.
• Beside grammar, you should also be observant of style and understand what an encylopedia article should look like. All the formats and templates have a reason and are based on consensus formed by previous editors.
• I and many editors who watch pages are busy and real life, so it is not a good idea to perform something then forces others to rescue your work. Sorry to say I found it more beneficial to the overall article and to my limitation to simply revert what you did. HkCaGu (talk) 10:11, 4 February 2011 (UTC)

Where are the problems with capital letters? I used them for proper names, like Cultural Revolution and Taiping Rebellion

edit warring of Article Key Lime Air

HkCaGu,

You seem persistant to weed through Articles on aviation deleting all factual negative content. I question that maybe you are paid by these airlines to keep them clean looking in the public eye. If so, think about the 50+ people that died on Colgan Air flight 3407.

My contributions to Airline Articles are not any different than those in other wikipedia articles. I merely added content to other content in Key Lime Air that existed as far back as 2007. Is it fair that all content only be positive content. The content I added is true, verifiable and is the publics right to know. Especially since the Article company provides services to the public that effect life.

If you'll look at Article Gulfstream_International_Airlines, there is very similiar content. You also make countless efforts to clean out all factual data that is negative. This is not in the best interetst of the public to hide factual saftey related content from the public.

The public comes to Wikipedia to learn about something. To hide all the facts is not right. Although my contributions to Key Lime Air may be negative, they are factual and verifiable. But if you look deeper, not all my contributions are negative.

If you have a better idea in which the same information can be better presented that would include the information the public is entitled to know, I am open to dicussion.

Mariupol Airport / Ilyich-Avia

Why did you delete most of the information about the Mariupol airport? I know about it and I took really long time looking and translating. Please do not edit again, as it's on of those pages that are usually empty. I expanded, there is nothing to delete.

You need to understand the basic rules of Wikipedia. You do not own the articles, and thus cannot require someone to discuss with you before changing stuff. Next, you must write in neutral language without peacock terms. Materials must also be notable, thus airports having accessible and VIP facilities is not out of the ordinary. Airport and airline articles are also governed by Wikiprojects such as WP:AIRPORT and WP:AIRLINE, and styles (such as date format) are governed by a Manual of Style. Sorry about this misunderstanding, I am new to contribution here at wiki. I just wanted to expand the article since it was almost empty. Mariupol is on of the cities I admire, I've been/lived there. I thought it would be a little honor if I add some info about it. Thanks for the help, and the edits. It's just that you removed to much. I worked on researching the airport all night, which is not an easy job; and seeing it go like this got me really disappointed.

No it is not. It just says the route is approved, not that Aeromexico has announced to start it on that date. We have standards at WP:AIRPORT on what's needed for a new route to be listed, and the airline not adding flights to its schedules and booking system is enough to prevent GDL-FAT from being listed. And on top of that, having Airmario3's own blog, given his edit history, as a source is absolutely disgusting, and restoring that part amounts to vandalism. HkCaGu (talk) 21:54, 6 March 2011 (UTC)

You are engaged in this article much longer than me. Perhaps it needs protection. I can request protection. The article on es-wiki was also vandalised. I used this site for verification. Info about 44 countries from the lead is wrong (according to the lead on es-wiki 46 countries, but 49 are mentioned in the article. What do you want to do with this article? Sorry it's beyond my personal time resources to research on contents in this article, but the site you quoted should be pretty good and accurate. Tijuana to RJAA

Vandalism on the MAX HAVOC: CURSE OF THE DRAGON page

I see in the MAX HAVOC: CURSE OF THE DRAGON edit history that you've helped with vandalism on that page before. I've recently reverted some vandalism on that page with links to online newspaper articles that cite some of the information on that page the vandal attempted to edit. I'm not as good an editor of Wikipedia that I would like to be (but I'm learning). I'm having trouble formating some of the links in that article and was wondering if you could help. I'm also having trouble citing sources that have link rot or are dead links. Any help you could throw my way would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. HKCaGu and Sprinkler21, nice to meet you here. I would like to point out that my editing is not vandalism but actually removing biased information that is defaming the producer and correcting the article to represent facts instead of fiction. Many of the referenced articles are biased and part of a propaganda spree against the producers. Especially the link to the disgruntled lighting technician is biased and to a great deal exaggerated and untrue. In the Wikipedia entry it is stated that "John Laing" as a persona defaulted on the loan. This is in fact wrong. It was the Guam Motion Pictures Company that defaulted. The person including the defamatory information (Sprinkler21) is very likely the disgruntled crew member that tried to sue the American distribution company that is owned by the producer himself. He claims in his article that he wasn't paid even though he was. He hoped to be able to fall into the Californian labor law regulations getting penalty payment for late payment (which was agreed by the crew in Guam). However, the case was dismissed by Californian law. This wikipedia entry has become part of a smear campaign by this disgruntled crew member, posting in forums, Q&A website defamatory questions and answering them by himself to raise awareness to a case that he has no grounds for. So in order to follow the Wikipedia guidelines I ask that the article not be biased without wrong and misleading information that hurts third parties that have nothing to do with the alleged dispute. Discussing the dispute is part of this, however then the research of Sprinkler should reflect both sides of the coin. It seems like Bababa333 is well-versed in insider's information and pretend to be ignorant of publicly-available, well-known information regarding the movie and the producer. Your edits reveal your bias in trying to whitewash negative information about Laing that is well known across Guam and the whole Micronesian region and in specific circles in California. I don't dispute that I have insider information as I requested them from the production company directly to hear their side of the story. A story that is not represented in this article which therefore makes the article biased in favor of the other side. Delta European flight cuts

United and Continental using trading name United

In the merger between Continental and United all planes are painted United and both carriers will use trading name United. Operationwise they still operate under different AOC (Air Operators Certifiacates).

The two airlines still have two websites and two systems and two brandings. Until they are completely merged, they will be listed by the operator, not corporate ownership. HkCaGu (talk) 20:26, 2 June 2011 (UTC)

The IP continues to remove Abuja as a destination, which operates under the same flight number and it operates via Accra. However, he continue to say to list nonstop destinations only. The template had always been carrying current UN non-self governing territories (NSGT)--a list of 16. Omdo, who had been very disruptive in adding things against consensus (see Associated state), suddenly added all former NSGTs (dozens) to the template, and then added the template to all of the respective articles. For a territory no longer in existence such as the PCZ, adding it to a category is OK, but a template that no longer has/should not have the PCZ is not. HkCaGu (talk) 15:39, 22 June 2011 (UTC)

Can you please take a look at this? The route is suspended this winter and resumes next summer but the IP who made the change continues to insists that "Delta said..." it will be year-round.
