Hello, Ketsuekigata, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions; I hope you like the place and decide to stay. We're glad to have you in our community! Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Though we all make goofy mistakes, here is what Wikipedia is not. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to see the help pages or add a question to the village pump. The Community Portal can also be very useful.

Happy Wiki-ing!

Hei, why must I conform with what you think is right, as in the case of the "list of sexual positions"? I don't like the idea of a picture showing a black fooker on a white chick. The neutrality demands uncoloured drawings not to offend any user. Out of this matter, you appear to be very unpolite when dealing with a female user that asked against the disturbing pics depicted in the topic, sooker. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.84.193.2 (talk) 18:02, 2 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to WikiProject Swimming

edit

Hello, Ketsuekigata and thank you for joining WikiProject Swimming. We are glad you have decided to join us. We look forward to editing with you, and we hope you look forward to editing with us! One of the biggest tasks for us right now, is to put {{WP Swimming}} on as many pages as possible. For other tasks you can do, please take a look at our To-do list, and see if you can knock a few things off. Once again, welcome! See you around the pool, --wpktsfs 01:22, 21 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Why did you add User:Jokerst44 to WP:AIV when this user hasn't vandalized? --Wafulz 22:06, 3 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Your edit to The Color Purple

edit

Hi, I saw that you correctly, er, corrected a grammatical error in the article. You also, however perhaps mistakenly, added a random script link to the middle of the plot summary, which I have since removed.[1] Just thought you should know in case it was a mistake on your part. Good job fixing the prose, though! María (críticame) 00:38, 19 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Stevie Ray Vaughn

edit

Re your edit on January 26, could you please explain how the edits which you "undid" were vandalism? While I agree that the change of "SRV Guitars" to "Fender Stratocaster" was a mistake (I did not read the discussion page first), the other edits were of uncited, unclear, or grammatically incorrect text. In particular, the section about his death makes some very detailed claims with virtually no substantiation.--red shirt guy (talk) 00:17, 28 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Correction- it was the "Drugs and Alcoholism" section, not "Death."--red shirt guy (talk) 00:20, 28 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Oops. I think it looked like vandalism because a whole section was removed without a reason in the summary. Sorry about that. I must have been a little out of it when I made that edit. Ketsuekigata (talk) 19:31, 4 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Rollback

edit

After reviewing your request for rollback, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback can only be used to revert vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback may be removed at any time.

If you do not want rollback, then contact me and I'll remove it. I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, just leave me a message on my talk page. Happy editing! Malinaccier (talk) 02:05, 19 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia: WikiProject Swimming

edit

Hi there, Ive recently joined the WP:WikiProject Swimming team. Im committed to getting on top of the project. Since you have listed yourself as a participant i thought i'd let you know what i've done. Ive got a bot thats going through the relevant catagouries that apply to the project and tagging them with our banner. Ive done all the stub class articles and assessed them automaticlly, and im starting on the 3000 other articles that ive identified. So this will mean that we will have all the articles in the scope of the project together and we can start working on them. So if you have any spare time theres going to be thousands of articles that will need assessing. There are around 2000 articles Just in Stub-Class swimming articles, and most of these will need the importance assessed. I think it's important we get all this assessing done, so we can start working on the articles.

Don't fell pressured to start assessing articles, i just thought that since theres going to be so many articles, you should know that theres heaps of work that needs to be done, ill be trying my best once my exams are finished. Remember many hands make light work.

Articles with no assertion of notability

edit

Hi there, you reverted my edits to some of the Lascelles article. There is no assertion of notability and Wikipedia is not a genealogical repository. These individuals, like hundreds of thousands of others, exist only as genealogical entries in databases, etc, while their ancestors might be notable. Being a great-great-grandchild of George V does not make one notable. 142.68.80.29 (talk) 18:59, 5 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your swift reply! I agree that the articles should be deleted, however, there seems to be a practice to redirect first-order descendants (children) of notable people to their parents. I found this to be the case even with people who have actual royal titles, but who are not notable. Please let me know what you think. Again, thanks! :-) 142.68.80.29 (talk) 19:04, 5 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
