Hi, I am reaching about the Draft:Robert_W._Amler page. You asked about quotation marks in the references. Those are the article titles. I could remove that, but I thought that is what was required. Also, regarding the table of military awards, that is what I got from other Wiki pages. I rebuilt if necessary. Jrodriguezrentas (talk) 21:27, 26 December 2024 (UTC)
- Quotes like this are what I was mentioning in the sources:
... "When I first met Dr. Amler, he shared with me the College's vision to create an incubator that would allow for biomedical innovation and creativity. What started as a vision grew into this incubator filled with nine biotech businesses, which has produced more than 40 new jobs and more than 30 new patents—and is now growing even bigger. What an amazing story for Westchester County and an incredible resource for this region," said Senator Stewart-Cousins...'
- I'd suggest asking for assistance with building this article in WP:WikiProject Military History. Ktkvtsh (talk) 21:29, 26 December 2024 (UTC)

help
editwell i am new in this and have no idea how to use it BRAND ARI (talk) 17:29, 3 January 2025 (UTC)
- Understood. I'd recommend looking at the Manual of Style and the Teahouse. Ktkvtsh (talk) 17:32, 3 January 2025 (UTC)
New Jersey Transit Westwoood Garage
editCan you help me with the Westwood Garage article please? Danny5784 (talk) 16:26, 5 January 2025 (UTC)
- @Danny5784, I've done a quick search and there are not enough sources to use to create this article. I fear it will not be possible, at this time, to get it published.
- I'd recommend checking out Wikipedia:WikiProject Transport. Ktkvtsh (talk) 16:31, 5 January 2025 (UTC)
- How many sources does the article need? Danny5784 (talk) 16:32, 5 January 2025 (UTC)
- You would need atleast three sources that prove its notability. See WP:GNG.
- I've looked for you and could not find any.
- What is your motivation to get this page published? Ktkvtsh (talk) 16:34, 5 January 2025 (UTC)
- I searched on Google for information and links. Danny5784 (talk) 16:46, 5 January 2025 (UTC)
- All information needs to have a corresponding source with it.
- There need to be sources that are focused on the Westwood Garage and not just mentioning it once. You can add more sources and resubmit it and another reviewer will take a look. Ktkvtsh (talk) 16:49, 5 January 2025 (UTC)
- Kearny Point has 5 sources Danny5784 (talk) 18:38, 5 January 2025 (UTC)
- I did find some sources but, do you think they allow yelp links? Danny5784 (talk) 18:39, 5 January 2025 (UTC)
- No, I highly doubt Yelp links will be acceptable. Ktkvtsh (talk) 19:32, 5 January 2025 (UTC)
- I could find some links for Westwood Garage from other websites. But do you think those will work? I mean, if you have seen the Kearny Point Article, it has 5 sources and those are useful because 1. It has Kearny Point’s routes. Danny5784 (talk) 20:42, 5 January 2025 (UTC)
- New Jersey Transit Kearny Point Garage is currently at risk of being deleted. I'd bring up the draft you are curently working on at Wikipedia Talk:WikiProject Transport for any further questions you have. Ktkvtsh (talk) 21:06, 5 January 2025 (UTC)
- Alright! Danny5784 (talk) 21:07, 5 January 2025 (UTC)
- Also, does it allow CPTDB links or no? If so, I want to make a article of 24001-24060 Danny5784 (talk) 21:08, 5 January 2025 (UTC)
- I don't know. Ask at WP Transport. They have more knowledge on this topic. Have a great day. Ktkvtsh (talk) 21:10, 5 January 2025 (UTC)
- Does it allow articles like info on bus vehicles? For example, 24001 from NJT Danny5784 (talk) 21:11, 5 January 2025 (UTC)
- I do not know. Ktkvtsh (talk) 21:12, 5 January 2025 (UTC)
- I’ll try it out. Also, I did find lots of sources on Westwood garage Danny5784 (talk) 21:12, 5 January 2025 (UTC)
- @Danny5784, Click here and ask it. They are more active and will most likely respond faster. Ktkvtsh (talk) 21:13, 5 January 2025 (UTC)

Re: Draft:Dungeon_Crawler_Carl
editThis was my first article submission and I put in work researching, citing sources, including official independent links. This is an upcoming francise that recently was optioned for a TV show and I was proud of being a part of the Wikipedia community. Now it seems someone recreated the same article and was accepted instead.
You know I volunteered my time just for the chance to know that I made a contribution. Editors don't really get paid or even really get recognition, it's just the satisfaction knowing I made a contribution. But seeing this is terribly hurtful. It's unfortunate that beginners can't get a chance to be established in the wikipedia community like this. Dashthirtydash (talk) 20:34, 6 January 2025 (UTC)
- @Dashthirtydash it is absolutely understandable to feel down. You aren't alone. There are usually multiple drafts for one article being worked on. I'd recommend going to the now published page and seeing how you can help improve it and make a contribution there. Instead of letting it bring you down, lift yourself up and continue working hard. Draft wording for RfC call to action
edit"A request for comment regarding the future of WikiProject Eurovision is currently ongoing. A proposal by Sims2aholic8 has been opened for comment, and a discussion is now taking place to determine consensus on whether WikiProject Eurovision should be rescoped and renamed WikiProject Song Contests. You are invited to read the proposed changes to the WikiProject at the discussion page and to participate by voting on the proposed changes and adding any comments or further proposals. This discussion will remain open until 31 January 2025, at which point, if consensus has been reached, further discussions will take place on the exact changes agreed."
@Grk1011: pinging you to see if you have any comments on the above wording as well. Sims2aholic8 (talk) 11:13, 7 January 2025 (UTC)
- Works for me. Thanks! Grk1011 (talk) 14:28, 7 January 2025 (UTC)
- I like it as well I’ll get it sent to the WP Eurovision mailing list. Ktkvtsh (talk) 14:42, 7 January 2025 (UTC)
