Welcome!

edit

Hello, LeannaTruong, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! Edits for SFA

edit
I am trying to follow COIEDIT with the disclosure above. I'm not being paid to edit Wikipedia and we're no longer using the contractor who made edits without disclosing. Let me know if there are further disclosures I need to make. I can edit my User or Talk pages too.
The edits I want to make should actually improve the page; I want to remove redlinks, the extraneous executives and lists of publications that I thought violated the "Not a List" rule. The only things I wanted to add were updated statistics for 2020. Are any of those edits not OK?
I can list them all out separately here. --LeannaTruong (talk) 19:37, 16 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
LeannaTruong, are you able to disclose who the prior marketing firm was related to Specialty Food Association undisclosed edits? We try to identify problematic firms for appropriate follow-up. - Bri.public (talk) 16:01, 14 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
Hey, Bri.public. Unfortunately, I'm not aware of the prior agency. The client shared they hired a freelancer to make edits then once their page got flagged, they saught to seek our team due to our experience. Wish I could be more of a help! - LeannaTruong (talk) 15:34, 19 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
LeannaTruong, you said they saught to seek our team due to our experience" so, please disclose your company name and accounts that you or someone else from your team may have used in the past. GSS💬 16:03, 19 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
Hi GSS
Sorry. Hope I'm understanding your question. I work for an agency called DKC. We represent a bunch of clients. Should I list them all on my page? Or just the ones I submit for? I'd be happy to do that. I'm just not sure what I should do so I apologize if I got anything wrong.
As for SFA, we replaced another agency who had used a Wikipedia freelancer. Do I need to find out who that freelancer was?
I don't think anyone else from DKC has submitted edit requests like I have, but I can check as well.
