About Black Zero
editHello,
I agree with you, megaman's zero isnt related to the article at all, and it deserves its own article with a disambiguation for the black zero of superman. Unfortunately i am new here and not sure about how to do that. Do you know how to do it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Taikanatur (talk • contribs) 16:06, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
Islam in the United States
editMacduff,
Thanks for your comment on Talk:Islam in the United States. We need more voices over there. Anyway I think there was some miscommunication about what I was suggesting regarding the only instance in which I propose that those two publications are acceptable as "sources." Please take a look at my response. Thanks and best.PelleSmith 22:53, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
Lead on, Macduff!
editI am extremely thrilled about the ingenious device you have placed on the Leatherstocking Tales that facilitates sorting them either in the chronological order of their composition or that of their subject matter. Did you come up with that yourself? How helpful! This could be used on many other pages of Wikipedia. "Necessity is the mother of invention!" I am so pleased.--Drboisclair (talk) 21:15, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

editYes the article doesn't state anything that she had Jewish parents, so the cats are currently unsupported. Secondly, she became a Baha'i around the age of 21, so she was no longer Jewish. Regards, -- Jeff3000 (talk) 17:47, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
Commodore Data
editSorry about that, I thought it was some remnants of vandalism past. I did look at ma:Data though - no mention of it there, although I suppose it's on MA somewhere. Jobjörn (talk) 00:31, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

The Day the Earth Stood Still
editI saw that you created The Day the Earth Stood Still (disambiguation), which is redirected to from The Day The Earth Stood Still. However, The Day the Earth Stood Still (notice the uncapitalized "the") redirects to The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951 film). We should probably try to aim for some consistancy there. :) We can either have "The Day the Earth Stood Still" be the disambiguation page (and have all capitalizations redirect to that), or, if the 1951 version of the film is legitimately the primary topic, then it would be located at "The Day the Earth Stood Still", with a hatnote to the other version of the film, no disambiguation page needed. -- Natalya 02:08, 26 July 2008 (UTC)

editSo help me, I have never crushed more on an edit than your recent interjection of the word 'may' into the section on JE's National Enquirer imbroglio. That little 3-letter word turned a POV sentence back into a NPOV one. *swoon* Ahem. Carry on. |EBY| (talk) 05:11, 3 August 2008 (UTC)
I've reverted your blanking of the redirect Lisa Druck. The _target of the redirect was Story of My Life (novel). Your reason for deleting the redirect was that "Lisa Druck isn't even mentioned anywhere in the article." I agree with you on that, but a casual Google search shows that "Lisa Druck" could be a plausible search term for the novel. Lisa Druck is the former name of Rielle Hunter, who was the inspiration for this novel as seen in this link. That is why this redirect doesn't qualify under CSD R3. If you still believe that this redirect is invalid, please nominate the redirect for deletion at Wikipedia:Redirects for deletion. Cheers, Cunard (talk) 04:28, 4 August 2008 (UTC)
You tagged Image:Supesredblue.PNG for speedy deletion because it is "a copyright infringement of [1]", which I take to be your website based on your edit summary. However, your website indicates that the image is "by Curt Swan and George Klein, Superman #162, 1963". If this is so, then you're probably not the original copyright holder since both Swan and Klein are long deceased. Hence I have declined your deletion request. If you object, please leave a note on User talk:Pegasus explaining why so. Thanks! Pegasus «C¦T» 02:52, 25 September 2008 (UTC)
I have replied to your question on my talk page. It's in the page history - here is the link for convenience. Pegasus «C¦T» 02:19, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
Better source request for File:K-metal_cover.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:K-metal_cover.jpg. You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the image because the source is incomplete. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact Web page where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain or the URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page or me at my talk page. Thank you. Rockfang (talk) 02:19, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
File permission problem with File:K-metal_cover.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:K-metal_cover.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the GFDL or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rockfang (talk) 06:03, 22 June 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of November Group (band)
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on November Group (band) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Hoponpop69 (talk) 17:39, 5 January 2013 (UTC)

Skylab mutiny?
editHi! I see you've had some interest in what to do with the Skylab mutiny article. In an attempt to address concerns brought forth on its talk page and at Wikipedia:Biographies_of_living_persons/Noticeboard/Archive271#Skylab_mutiny, I have prepared a draft of a substantially different article on the same topic at User:Ke4roh/Skylab 4 human factors. I think it's nearly ready to go, and I would appreciate your input before I take that leap. -- ke4roh (talk) 16:39, 20 August 2018 (UTC)
