Hi Mark, I have started a merge discussion re Stagecoach Merseyside, and thought you may like to take part, since you attempted a rename along similar lines a while ago.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Ashton Park School, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Southville. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Bicester Town

edit

There is still a possibility that the name Bicester Town will be retained, since there is considerable local opposition to what they see as a downgrading. The established convention (see WP:NCUKSTATIONS) is that when a station is closed for conversion, we do not rename the article until it reopens, but continue to show its final name prior to closure. So when the Oxford line and its three stations finally reopens, at that point we resolve any changes of name - not before then. --Redrose64 (talk) 19:50, 20 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

On national rail enquiries the name has changed to Bicester Village. Mark999 (talk) 20:55, 20 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
But the station has not yet reopened. If there is a change of mind regarding the new name, National Rail Enquiries will update their website. They've done it before, with e.g. James Cook railway station. --Redrose64 (talk) 21:15, 20 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
