Rashmi Singh

Hatnote or dab page. I'll let you handle it. :) Anna Frodesiak (talk) 08:15, 5 October 2012 (UTC)

I will take care of it, don't worry. Mr T(Talk?) (New thread?) 08:18, 5 October 2012 (UTC)

Sorry to butt in again. Here's the hatnote/dab story: If somebody ends up at Rashmi Singh (author), it's because they typed the word "author", or selected it. So, not hatnotes are needed. As there is no primary topic, I would suggest a simple disambiguation page called "Rashmi Singh" The word (disambiguation) isn't needed because you've already move the journalist to Rashmi Singh (journalist) . Anna Frodesiak (talk) 08:34, 5 October 2012 (UTC)

Good idea. Both writers, so makes sense. Thanks, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 09:25, 5 October 2012 (UTC)

Application performance engineering page

Comment by Mbrandwin (talk · contribs) at 19:38, 5 October 2012 (UTC)

Thank you for helping improve the page. What do you recommend be added/changed? Third-party credible sources are cited, and the topic application performance engineering is becoming increasingly utilized by industry analysts, IT organizations and vendors.

Mbrandwin (talk) 19:38, 5 October 2012 (UTC)
Work on citing reliable secondary sources for each unsourced assertions or delete them. I may give you more tips on the talk page of the article later. Mr T(Talk?) (New thread?) 19:41, 5 October 2012 (UTC)

new article Mark Staufer

Hello there, I submitted an article on Mark Staufer, author which you reviewed and the comment I got from you is to "check sources." Could you please specify what that means -- add sources, sources I cited are not considered valid?

Here is the link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/Mark_Staufer

Thank you, Chickazilla (talk) 21:13, 5 October 2012 (UTC)

I meant reduce the duplicate sources and use full citations. But don't worry I have done it myself. Mr T(Talk?) (New thread?) 07:49, 6 October 2012 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for patrolling new pages. I'm just letting you know that I have tagged a page JKB Films' Production of Doctor Who Fan Series for deletion per WP:A7 that you only placed maintenance templates on and passed for inclusion. Speedy deletions

Comment by PamD (talk · contribs) at 10:05, 7 October 2012 (UTC)

You tagged American Project Management Academy for speedy deletion but amended the "reason" to be "there is no reference to establish the notability. This whole thing could be a farce". That is not a reason for speedy deletion. The article asserts notability, and is not blatantly a hoax (googling finds its website. Please note that speedy deletion is only appropriate for articles which meet the strict criteria, such as "an article about a company, corporation, organization, or group that does not credibly indicate the importance or significance of the subject.". This article asserts that APMA is "a known and recognized standards institution around the world".

PamD 10:05, 7 October 2012 (UTC)
The same goes for this. Please be more careful with your speedy deletion tagging. Phil Bridger (talk) 11:40, 7 October 2012 (UTC)

609th AOC edit

Comment by CFACC'sFalcon609th (talk · contribs) at 21:46, 7 October 2012 (UTC)

Mike, Unfortunately you undid my edits on the 609th Air Operations Center wiki page. Being actually stationed here, the edits were made at the request of the Commander and so I would appreciate you not changing what we are updating, since we are trying not to be in the business of putting out information that will aid anyone wishing us harm. It is unfortunate, but due to security reasons, we are not publicizing locations or names (which is mainly what I deleted, besides some fluff which should have been deleted anyways). Hence, my reason (which you deemed badly explained and unhelpful) for saying it was for security reasons (and given the current world situation, that should be self-evident). The other option is to delete the page entirely, but the point of the page should be information on the AOC and so specific location (for the time being) and Commander's name are irrelevant to a larger version of history. Being the ones in harms way, we don't need much of a reason to conceal that information if we feel it will improve our security. I concede that we cannot control all of the information out there, but we should be allowed to do so when possible. Please understand that I am not trying to stifle any relevant information (and, in fact, put Southwest Asia for a location which should have been good enough) but your deletion caused another user to update while I was asleep and that will also have to be updated. Thank you for your vigilance, but please let us control our own security on the military pages (when necessary). Thank you.

CFACC'sFalcon609th (talk) 21:46, 7 October 2012 (UTC)
As much as I would like to believe you, I can't because of Wikipedia:Verifiability. Truth is not the threshold for inclusion, verifiability is. Cheers, Mr T(Talk?) (New thread?) 08:15, 8 October 2012 (UTC)

Jan Sivertsen PROD removal

I've removed your BLPPROD at Jan Sivertsen. The article was referenced to a museum website prior to your insertion of the PROD template but it had been presented as an external link. - Sitush (talk) 08:22, 8 October 2012 (UTC)

You might help this article. Mr T(Talk?) (New thread?) 08:44, 8 October 2012 (UTC)

Please explain this revert

Can you please explain this revert which you "identified as a test/unhelpful". Can you please explain what metric you use to ascertain whether an edit is a test or unhelpful. I ask this because it has been stated in the edit history that it is sourced to blogs, and is a WP:BLP violation. 60.231.241.44 (talk) 12:32, 8 October 2012 (UTC)

Mrt3366, if you insert the BLP violation into again, I will report you to WP:BLPN. Also, this is not acceptable. I have not removed content because WP:IDONTLIKEIT, but because it is a WP:BLP violation. Please stop, before this goes further. 60.231.241.44 (talk) 15:02, 8 October 2012 (UTC)
Have you heard of the thing called "boomerang"? I think that's where you're headed. Mr T(Talk?) (New thread?) 15:06, 8 October 2012 (UTC)
I have indeed. Please read WP:BLP which says "Contentious material about living persons (or recently deceased) that is unsourced or poorly sourced—whether the material is negative, positive, neutral, or just questionable—should be removed immediately and without waiting for discussion.[2] Users who persistently or egregiously violate this policy may be blocked from editing." The information is sourced to an unreliable blog; other information is a WP:COATRACK, in which the WP:SPA editor on the article has inserted; there are no reliable sources which state there is a controversy on the show -- it is essentially original research. The incidents concerning the named person have not been described by a reliable source within the context of the TV show. Please familiarise yourself with the BLP policy on this project. 60.231.241.44 (talk) 15:12, 8 October 2012 (UTC)
You call the other editor as "WP:SPA editor" but you haven't made many contributions outside the article either. I also saw you've reverted the sourced assertions again. This is the point where I would like to say,

thank you for taking out time for commenting here. I have asked an administrator to look into this matter. Comment there if you like I will not get involved in this any further. If you need my assistance for anything else, please let me know. I don't think it's a BLP violation, but you seem to know better. Thus, I think you should discuss the issue with a more experienced and reasonable editor than me. If you would still like to report me to WP:BLPN, please feel free to do so. I don't wish to waste anymore of your or my time. Cheers, Mr T(Talk?) (New thread?) 15:22, 8 October 2012 (UTC)

Infosuv article not accepted

Hello. I am writing to get more information on why the Infosurv, Inc. article was not accepted. Could you give any specific reasons as to why the company was not notable enough for Wikipedia? I've cited several independent sources to show it's notability, but I'm assuming maybe they're not phrased/formatted the correct way. I would appreciate any feedback you have.

Thanks, I staywoke I staywoke (talk) 12:36, 8 October 2012 (UTC)

What page are you referring to? Are you talking about a page I reviewed and declined? Or a page that I patrolled which was created? From your contributions, I came across a page called Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Infosurv, Inc. It seems notable, albeit needs some work (but that's okay). Well, I don't see my username on the history page except for one time where I corrected the link to the reference. I cannot comment unless you give me the link to the page you're talking about.

See Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Infosurv — creation of a previously deleted page is not generally encouraged unless it's extremely notable. Mr T(Talk?) (New thread?) 14:57, 8 October 2012 (UTC)

to this:

It will be based roughly on the first half of A Storm of Swords, the third installment of the A Song of Ice and Fire novels by George R. R. Martin,

I believe the original author of this section forgot to put the word installment into this sentence

International Astrostatistics Association

I revised the article and resubmitted it. I have deleted much of what I wrote before, so its just the basics directly from the association information page on its web site. I am totally confused what the problem was with the previous version, which appeared to be similar to articles on other academic and scientific associations. I hope that this is OK now. I wanted to develop pages for other associations and figures in math, statistics and the physical sciences. But this has turned out to take much more time than I thought. My goal is to help bring more scientific topics to Wikipedia. Thanks, MB Brownstat (talk) 00:48, 12 October 2012 (UTC)

"plzzz help before anyone else lands on it" -
  1. In plzzz → one "z" or "s" is enough.
  2. Try to assume good faith.
Wikipedia is collaborative process that is based upon mutual trust and camaraderie. I know for a new editor it's hard (even sometimes it's hard enough for me too) but that is the way it is. Mr T(Talk?) (New thread?) 15:45, 1 October 2012 (UTC)

MAYBE THE PERSON IS KNOWN BUT ON THE BASIS WHICH THE ARTICLE HAS BEEN DELETED, PUBLISHED SOURCES, IS MISSING HERE TOO! I can't writ on their talk pages as they become downright personal but I can smell racism! And what is this http://www.comm.ucsb.edu/sites/www.comm.ucsb.edu/files/sitefiles/people/faculty/gilesh/cv-giles.pdf??? C.V,?? So this is Wikipedia!! Maybe Tokyo girl should also have a peep as she too had stoop up for this article. And this source is a page of a scanned page?? http://books.google.co.in/books?id=oJE462b0kv4C&pg=PA62&redir_esc=y#v=onepage&q&f=false Wow!!! That way may scanned pages of the books can come up!! Ananyaprasad (talk) 09:32, 14 October 2012 (UTC)
The person who deleted Love's Journey and Rashmi Singh overlooked that it exists on Google Books and here he is creating articles with the same!!! But if I'll write on his talk page many will all their might will stand against me.Ananyaprasad (talk) 09:37, 14 October 2012 (UTC) But can you please ask him why he creates such pages and deletes others??
It has nothing to do with racism, trust me. It's your inference. Anyway, it seems like you're not so satisfied with the deletion. Well, if you still think that the article should have been kept, check Wikipedia:Deletion review. However, I would recommend before listing a review request please consider discussing the matter with the admin who deleted the page as this could resolve the matter more quickly. Mr T(Talk?) Pakistani cricket team in India in 2012–13

Comment by PamD (talk · contribs) at 19:54, 14 October 2012 (UTC)

This was not empty enough to qualify for Speedy A-3: please read the definition more carefully. It included dates and venues for the forthcoming tour, which cannot be described as "an article that contains no content whatsoever, or consists only of external links, category tags, a "see also" section, a rephrasing of the title, an attempt to correspond with the person or group named by its title, chat-like comments and/or images." The article is also clearly one of a series of similar article such as Pakistani cricket team in India in 2007–08, so has a place in the encyclopedia. Please do not nominate articles for Speedy Deletion unless they exactly match one or more of the criteria for Speedy Deletion, which have been drawn up and discussed carefully over the years. Thanks. PamD 19:54, 14 October 2012 (UTC)

PamD 19:54, 14 October 2012 (UTC)
I have nominated the article because it seemed to fit the A-3 criterion exactly. I don't agree with you. Why?
  1. The tour is going to commence on 25 December 2012, we're not there yet.
  2. It currently has 3 sections and 5 subsections, none of it has any content except for links to other pages.
  3. Not to mention, none of it is referenced.
The page is long but is not conveying anything other info apart from a rephrasing of the title. Mr T(Talk?) (New thread?) 05:39, 15 October 2012 (UTC)

Hi - thanks for your message - apols - i think i made that amendment in the heat of the moment and yes it probably didn't come across as constructive - i should know better web ettitquette! However, i still stand by it - in that Dal or Daal should never be spelled Dhal. It's to do with the letters in any South Asian alphabet. 'Dh' has a very specific sound compared to 'D' - My name is Dharmesh, though when pronounced in English - you wouldn't register the 'h'. So - if you are able to - I'd still request that you remove the 'Dhal' spelling - though I do appreciate you do see it spelled like that in many places - even in South Asian restaurants in the UK.

  • If English sources of equal quality and relevance are available, then use english versions but otherwise I would suggest using Reliable sources noticeboard (←This page is for posting queries regarding whether particular sources are reliable in context). When citing a non-English source for information, it is not always necessary to provide a translation. However, if a question should arise as to whether the non-English original actually supports the information, relevant portions of the original and a translation should be given in a footnote, as a courtesy. Mr T(Talk?) (New thread?) 06:52, 18 October 2012 (UTC)
  • Translations will be necessary in this instance. I'll be asking for translations of anything and everything, mainly because of the problems that arose during the AfD regarding fluff pieces etc. - Sitush (talk) 07:06, 18 October 2012 (UTC)

Please, I just asked a question, that's it. Why do you forget, she is an Indian? Hindi newspapers do cover our authors and other respectable personalities. I didn't say, I couldn't find sources in English newspapers. I just asked. Please be humane and gentle. And Situish, I am very good at Hindi and that's my language. English is an added advantage. I would request you all to be gentle and understanding and if not I may leave and go! If I ask anything, why can't you guys reply in a straightforward manner?Ananyaprasad (talk) 06:36, 19 October 2012 (UTC)
  • Moreover I am noticing many are landing on whereever I am making request to add something up for the article, I think some have taken it up as a personal vendetta. This is not expected from Wikipedians. Guys I respect you all and all languages. English is not the only language in this world. Let me work. I was asking Mr T and you all have jumped!Ananyaprasad (talk) 09:09, 19 October 2012 (UTC) I know you will never let this page pass----
  • That's the nature of Wikipedia Ananyaprasad. Nothing is private (except email)! If you post something on a user talk page, expect talk page stalkers to jump in and comment and you should think of that as a positive, not a negative. The more views you get, whether you like them or not, the more likely the results will be better. And I assure you there is no vendetta here and that it is not constructive to view things that way. The rest of us have larger interests than an article on a single author. Get a couple of good English language book reviews from reliable independent sources, and I'll be up there supporting inclusion as, I'm sure, will Sitush, MrT and all the others who !voted delete. --regentspark (comment) 14:15, 19 October 2012 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Calcium nitrite, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Heavy oil (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Row_echelon_form correction

Comment by 70.171.12.102 (talk · contribs) at 11:22, 19 October 2012 (UTC)

Hi Mike, I'm new to this and I hope I'm commenting properly here. All I did was make the second matrix on the Row echelon form page to be displayed correctly. It was configured for 4 columns but it had 5 actually. An error statement was being displayed in red on the wiki page when I was reading it. I'm new to Latex and wiki but I figured if I add another 'c' in the matrix it might display correctly, and it did so I saved the correction. I guess I should have described the change, but like I said, I'm new to this and I wasn't sure how.

GWS

[Section divided by Mrt3366] Mike your facts about GWS are incorrect and no longer reflect the new managements view and opinion. I am the Managing Director of GSI and i made the changes to reflect what GWS is now about. THe association with Bas Boon is not the key factor anymore, in particular Bas is not the President of GSI. i have authorized people to clean up this Wikipedia page to make sure it accurately reflects who we are and what we do. Please authorize my last changes immediately.

Animal House additions removal

Comment by 109.157.83.9 (talk · contribs) at 12:30, 20 October 2012 (UTC)

Hi, perhaps you could educate me. You seem to have removed my edit on the basis of the previous removal having been done in good faith. I listened to their criticism, and reworded my edit, understanding that it had not been worded appropriately for an encyclopedia. I do not understand why my updated comment has been removed. The music score has certainly been changed from the original, which is a disappointment to purist fans of the movie. I looked to wikipedia for information on the revised soundtrack, found it was not referred to, and so added comment, also inviting others to enlarge upon it. Why have you removed my updated comment?

109.157.83.9 (talk) 12:30, 20 October 2012 (UTC)
Your additions could have been valid. And, yes, the statements would have been there for a longer while if they were backed by reliable sources. Please don't take offense to this removal. That's the nature of wikipedia. Mr T(Talk?) (New thread?) 12:33, 20 October 2012 (UTC)
  • Mostly I am indignant that the sound track to the film has been changed, rather than criticism of my wiki etiquette. The film is being published as though the sound track is the original, but they have changed much of the background music and I was trying to alert people to that. Also I wanted to invite people, more knowledgeable than I, to further uncover this misrepresentation. In removing my additions, you perpetuate the lie. I am not offended, but am frustrated. If you can suggest a better way to accomplish this, I would be interested to hear. Otherwise, I guess I'll have to leave it as it is, and new viewers of the film can wonder what all the fuss was about, with this watered down and out of time context background soundtrack. Thankfully, with many good songs performed in the film, these could not be changed, so there is a semblance of the original - but to the purists, a hacking job has occurred to the backing soundtrack. I was very surprised not to find information on this in wiki, but now I see how challenging it is to add comment, I am less so. 109.157.83.9 (talk) 12:52, 20 October 2012 (UTC)
It is not challenging at all. Find a reliable source and add the comment you want to include. Mr T(Talk?) (New thread?) 13:00, 20 October 2012 (UTC)

animal house edit -

Comment by 109.157.83.9 (talk · contribs) at 13:26, 20 October 2012 (UTC)

Thank you for your advice. I guess even if I took the time to list all the songs in the original and what has been put in their place, this would count as "original research" and as such not valid. I would have to first need to get this published elsewhere, and would only then be allowed to refer to it. Ah well. I thought there was a process where "citation needed" could be entered: for instance: "Animal House is considered to be the movie that launched the gross-out genre,[1][need quotation to verify] although it was predated by several films now also included in the genre.[citation needed]" That comment was left in place. Looks like I'm just missing the point. Thanks anyway.

Well, I have no idea if you know the Dutch language good enough to understand the lyrics of Doe Maar, but the lyrics of "De bom" make plenty references to human relations. Like in the chorus: "Ik heb jou nooit gekend, 'k wil weten wie je bent" ("I've never known you, I wanna know who you are"), as well as the last line of the second verse: "Maar liever weet ik wie je bent voordat het te laat is" ("But I'd rather know who you are, before it's too late"). So the message of the song is much more than merely a fatalistic view towards the atomic bomb.

creation/ Matthias Bertsch -

Thanks for checkin Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Matthias Bertsch. As you asked, I have reduced the links and refs. Prof. Bertsch is teacher at our university and his publicatios can be found in the library http://www.mdw.ac.at/bib and some are listed in the Google Scholar Citations. His Bio has been published in some conference proceedings, which have been summarized. The article is already published in the french and german wiki. Please re-check and move the article. --Ziehharmonika (talk) 21:39, 20 October 2012 (UTC)

I will but what does it mean "present via the parent article"? Mr T(Talk?) (New thread?) 08:11, 21 October 2012 (UTC)
The parent article is Human rights abuses in Kashmir, so only one is really needed. Readers can go there and follow links to the subarticles if they so choose. Darkness Shines (talk) 08:15, 21 October 2012 (UTC)
Well, where does it say that the parent article is Human rights abuses in Kashmir?? Human rights violations in Balochistan doesn't have a link to Human rights abuses in Azad Kashmir, I don't think this rationale is valid. Is there anything else?
And where does it say that if it's present via the parent article, then there should not be a more direct link to any article? Mr T(Talk?) (New thread?) 08:19, 21 October 2012 (UTC)

Hi Mike

Thank you for reviewing my submission. I see you declined the new page submission for Anthony Antoncich as not a notable person. He was a recipient of the RAF Distinguished Flying Medal and I wanted him to be listed and linked like the other medal recipients on the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Recipients_of_the_Distinguished_Flying_Medal page. Would you please reconsider the submission.

Thanks, Greg

Wikipedia talk:Articles_for_creation/Charles_Noke

Comment by Thall69 (talk · contribs) at 19:41, 22 October 2012 (UTC)

Hi Mike, I have tried to take on board your comments and have tightened up the references to what I believe are more verifable sources. In terms of notablity Noke was the driving force behind what made Doulton a world leader in ceramics at the turn of the 20th century. His influence was clearly felt as he pulled in other great potters/ designers as per his significant mention in several other articles on wikipedia, e.g. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leslie_Harradine and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Vyse (although I think you might say that these articles need some tightening up as well - perhaps when this article is finally published I can work on them). I will resubmit the article for your review. Cheers, Tom.

Clinical Asociates

Hi Mark, I've noted your comment., My name is Edwin Lehlohonolo Leballo, Chairman of Professional Association of Clinical Associates in South Africa (PACASA), i"m a Clinical Associates pioneer form Universitity of Pretoria currently working at Thusanong Dostric Hospital. I've reed your definition of Clinical Associates and i felt like some points where not real as compared to what we are, I'd appreciate working together with you., i"m more on giving Clinical Associate the credit it desire and good reputation it desire., this new profession is serving as one of the best changes that have ever happened in the South African department of health and we want people to acknowledge and recognise that. Please send me an email at edwin.leballo@gmail.com so we can chat more about this. Best Regards — Preceding unsigned comment added by Edwin Leballo (talkcontribs) 19:38, 22 October 2012 (UTC)

Thank you for commenting here on my talk, but I neither edited that page vehemently nor did I know much about the subject. In fact that reversion of your edit was not because I know too much about the clinical associates, but owing to the fact that it contained unreferenced information.

Thanks for quickly picking up my error, accidentally deleting half the page. All I was trying to do was to correct the error in John Nutting QC, who was senior prosecuting counsel at the Bailey (and for all I know, still is), but who was certainly not the Treasury devil, which is what the explanation suggested. Ineptitude on my part meant that this small edit actually took four attempts, three by me and one by you. Best wishes

How?

Incidentally, no response re http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk%3AMrt3366&diff=518664841&oldid=518650596 ...?

213.246.88.102 (talk) 07:57, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
That message on your page was an automated response, I didn't write it. I didn't say it was a vandalism-act. It was not helpful either. Mr T(Talk?) (New thread?) 08:04, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
  • Thanks for your reply. I think if you examine both edits that triggered your automated response, you will find them helpful. Perhaps your automated response should mention that it's automated? That would make its assumption of unconstructive or vandalistic editing more understandable. 213.246.88.102 (talk) 08:26, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
Hahaha...Check the edit summary it says "using STiki". That means it's automated, I have not created those messages nor did I build that software, so I am really the wrong person to complain to. Mr T(Talk?) (New thread?) 10:22, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
Stalker: You laugh? But, the edits seemed good.[3][4] You reverted using STiki, which sent the message, so aren't you ultimately responsible for the post? And, why aren't the edits good? Anna Frodesiak (talk) 10:47, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
  • The automated message doesn't direct attention to edit summaries, so that seems to be something else to include. If you like, I could draft a less stentorian version of the message. Meanwhile, I'm still wondering what's amiss with the two edits I made...? 213.246.88.102 (talk) 11:19, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
  • Hi 213. I don't see anything wrong with your two edits, and I don't agree with Mrt's reverting of them. I have restored one of your edits, however the one on Lebanon got buried, so if you would be willing to make your changes again that would be appreciated. Also, if you want to help improve the message, feel free to leave me a note on my talk page, and I think we can work with West.andrew.g to create better ones.
  • Mrt, I don't agree with you claiming that the message is not your fault. You used STiki, and you are responsible for ALL edits it makes, including the edit summaries. I quote You take full responsibility for any action you perform using STiki (from the top of the page). The IP's edits were in fact helpful, and should not have been reverted. Additionally, STiki is not automated, it's semi-automated. Legoktm (talk) 11:33, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
  • "I don't agree with you claiming that the message is not your fault." - fault?? How did it get this far? I never claimed I am not responsible. I take full responsibility. Let's not stretch too far, you've restored it, now let's end this conversation and move on. Mr T(Talk?) (New thread?) 13:05, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
  • ... I have not created those messages nor did I build that software, so I am really the wrong person to complain to. Pretty sure that's you saying it's not your fault. Additionally, had you fully read my comment, you would have noticed that I only reverted one of your two reverts since the other was already buried too deep in the history to recover. Legoktm (talk) 13:11, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
  • Let me also just say the edit was italicizing the title (there is no real purpose behind that edit). I didn't say I am not responsible. I take responsibility for the message but if someone asks me to change the wording that I do not know how to do. Hence, I wrote what you quoted. Mr T(Talk?) (New thread?) 13:14, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
  • How is there not a purpose behind that edit? It italicized the title. That was the purpose of the edit.
  • Your wording above does not lead to the conclusion that you were responsible, however thank you for clarifying that. In the future, its best to talk to the tool author if you want to have changes implemented, like I told 213 above. Legoktm (talk) 13:24, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
  1. "It italicized the title." - it was basically redundant edit and personally do think it was less than constructive.
  2. He wrote, "Perhaps your automated response should mention that it's automated?" in this context i responded, "I have not created those messages nor did I build that software, so I am really the wrong person to complain to." Please do not take it too far. You are entitled to your opinion just as much as I am to mine. Thank you for commenting. Mr T(Talk?) (New thread?) 13:30, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
Just to make sure future incidents like this don't happen again, are you aware of what {{Italic title}} actually does? Your comments here seem to imply that it doesn't make a visible change to the reader, even though they do. Legoktm (talk) 13:39, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
