Please discuss the changes you make in the talk page. I have left reasons for my changes in the talk page; so you should see it. Also, I do not know what inflammatory adjectives you are referring to. Brusegadi 19:58, 3 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

"reverted weasel terms" would be considered inflammatory by most!

This is probably because you are not familiar with WP:AWT. Sorry if I offended you, I do not mean to do that, but I hope that now you know what I meant. Also, please look at WP:AGF. Take care, Brusegadi 20:54, 3 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Discussion of Arnoldo Alemán article

edit

Discussions with regard to editing of articles should not take place on user pages but instead on the article's talk page, where the issues will be seen by other editors interested in the article. Raymond Arritt 15:49, 5 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Biography of Living Person's policy

edit

Please read over WP:BLP, especially this, which states "In the case of significant public figures, there will be a multitude of reliable, third-party published sources to take material from, and Wikipedia biographies should simply document what these sources say. If an allegation or incident is notable, relevant, and well-documented by reliable published sources, it belongs in the article — even if it's negative and the subject dislikes all mention of it. If it is not documented by reliable third-party sources, leave it out." Notmyrealname 19:08, 6 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Removal of sourced material

edit

Please be more judicious about removing material from articles, in particular material that is supported by reliable sources such as national newspapers-of-record. Note also that the three-revert rule is an "electric fence" and not an entitlement. Editors may be blocked for edit warring or disruptive editing even though 3RR has not formally been violated. I hope you can work with other editors involved in the Arnoldo Alemán toward consensus solutions. Raymond Arritt 19:25, 6 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

RE: Arnoldo Aleman

edit

Hi there! Thanks for letting me know, and for expounding the issue so thoroughly. However, the page needs an unbiased administrator to just make sure everything is in order; I can't engage in creating consensus, since forming an opinion on the actual issue would give me a POV and possibly negatively affect my outlook. I suppose it is best to know both sides, though; thanks! And good luck on finding a compromise. Cheers, Master of Puppets Call me MoP! :D 03:48, 6 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
