There is no substantive claim to notability at all. Being involved in shifting one product to production with plastic instead of wood is not really a sign of notability at all. This article is also unsourced as well. How long has it been unsourced? well, it has had a notice of being unsourced for 11 years. However this article has been unsourced over 18 years. No, I am not exagerating. Of the 6 million plus articles in Wikipedia this is one of the less than 100,000 oldest, probably among the 50,000 oldest. Not only is this article with no sources, but the article creator admits with his creation that he is the son of the subject. This article violates all sorts of policies on no orginal research, conflict of interest, and need for notability. True, many of these policies did not yet exist in 2002, but Wikipedia does not grandfather articles but applies current policies on articles. My search for sourcing came up with absolutely nothing. - Comment, have notified chemistry wikiproject via its talkpage of this afd. Coolabahapple (talk) 04:03, 25 September 2020 (UTC)
- Delete. There is no evidence of notability. The claim to be one of the discoverers of Polyurethane is not supported by that article. --Bduke (talk) 04:18, 25 September 2020 (UTC)
- Comment, re modern dolls/mannequins, i like everybody else never gave a second thought about how their limbs move, amongst other patents (like a new type of bowling pin!) this guy had a patent for Articulated doll joint, also, heres an article by Abbat in Product Engineering (1958) - "Picking the plastic for abrasion resistance", but unless more is found (and indepth/wikisignificant), this doesn't look good. - We need sources about an individual, not articles written by them.John Pack Lambert (talk) 12:29, 25 September 2020 (UTC)
