Suspected sockpuppets

Recently, this vandal has been causing disruption at the redirect request page, using proxies and VPNs. A half dozen of these IPs have been blocked.

The Albanianrapper name was registered in May 2024. The intersections with previous socks include an avid interest in List of ethnic enclaves in North American cities shared by blocked user BigBeefShareef, and going back further to 2020, the range Special:Contributions/2605:E000:100D:C571:0:0:0:0/64 and blocked sock Adinneli. Other intersections have occurred at Albanians in New York City and Mexicans.

Checkuser requested in the hope that something can be fished out of the previous notes or records to confirm the user Albanianrapper. Binksternet (talk) 04:28, 20 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Albanianrapper isn't HHV. I can't rule out that Albanianrapper = BigBeefShareef based on technical data as the blocked account is   Stale. (But that account's behaviour isn't a match for HHV either).   No comment with respect to IP address(es). Spicy (talk) 19:53, 22 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Suspected sockpuppets

The first and second edits of Socahil959 were edit warring, reverting article text and restoring a talk page entry by the SoCal IP range Special:Contributions/2603:8001:BA00:23BC:0:0:0:0/64. C.monarchist28 was blocked for edit-warring at European Canadians in concert with SoCal IP Special:Contributions/98.150.89.19.[1][2]

Adding Italian Wikipedian 2024 and 3× blocked Special:Contributions/47.152.233.160 because of recent edits showing the same behavior. Italian Wikipedian 2024 made much the same edit as the IP at The History of White People in America[3][4] and at Scottish people.[5][6] The new user is focused on portals in the same manner as previous socks.   • Italian Wikipedian 2024 is obviously them, technically and behaviourally. The other named accounts did not appear in my check and I don't see sufficient evidence to check them. HHV has a very consistent behavioural pattern and these accounts do not match it. Not everyone who edits about race relations in North America is this sockmaster.   No comment with respect to IP address(es). Spicy (talk) 19:34, 22 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
