Mark Maglasang was soft blocked from Wikipedia because he's making edits on and his username represents a well-known person (Bosx1ne). A few weeks later, a new user, Marlou Arizala, which also represents a well-known person (Marlou Arizala) appeared and started making similar edits on the pages that Mark Maglasang was editing.

With regards to the claim as pointed out by @Rdp060707, perhaps I have unwittingly re-added another user’s edit along with the addition of Marlou “Xander Ford” Arizala’s picture. From what I saw in the article, it was pretty vague so I revised some things there such as adding a bail amount of P18,000 and other details so as to make the article clearer. After rechecking the article Mr. @Rdp060707, I suppose I also forgot to properly indicate in the edit summary what I altered in the page. My bad. It wasn't that very clear to you. I only indicated that I changed the picture, grammar, and such. I guess you have misconstrued my edits and mistook those as those of the sockpuppeteer's. Also please, before filing a report to what you think as "suspicious", you may want to talk it over at my talk page and discuss thoroughly my edits. I am more than willing to give you an explanation to such edits. I just do not want any unnecessary complaints filed against me. Just to add to the proof above, the editor's username is similar to a blocked sock, User:The Great Honcho. Also, looking at his page, and his contributions, the editor seems to have the same interests (aviation, airlines, ships, etc.) with the previously blocked socks. Aside from that, he also made some disruptive edits: erronious "blocking" of an IP, "my pic, my rules", and edit warring. - SUBWAY 18:58, 16 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I don’t think there is a correlation to your claims. Those are just hunches and bad faith accusations. You shouldn’t be doing that. Be ashamed of yourself for accusing me of such illegal acts. Just because me and the "socks" have the same interests doesn’t mean I am a sock. Also, what I thought as constructive was after all disruptive. This doesn’t merit an editing block. I have been informed that my edits were wrong so I stopped. I am not a disobedient editor here. Do not tag me accuse me in bad faith. You might get blocked for this just so you know. Also, I do not know this user. There may be a coincidence for this kind of editing. Don’t be an accuser in bad faith. All you just want is to accuse someone of crimes you “think” they are guilty of when in fact, they may not be. You want to be “the good guy” here but at the expense of other editors’ reputation. You are smearing our names in a bad light. Bad faith as it is, report instances when you are REALLY SURE of it, not when you just want to make an alliance with another bad faith accuser here. With regards to an edit at Xander Ford, I reverted the picture since I thought it was constructive enough to retrieve the picture. I also wasn’t informed that the picture has been deleted due to copyright violation. It is my mistake. Also with the claim that both of us, TheHonchoMindset, were editing the same articles, I didn’t know that he may be a sock. A21NX's user page indicates that their username is based on a Cathay Pacific airplane; sockmaster has a history of Asian airline-inspired usernames including AllNipponAirwaysLover, CathayPacificFrequentFlyer, CebuPacificAir, and CebGo.

Incredibly similar edit summaries when reverting edits, including all caps summaries, such as the following:

  • The Thinking Pinoy (edit diff): "BLANKING. DO NOT EDIT WAR AFTER THIS REVISION. SEE WP:EW."
  • A21NX (edit diff): "NON-CONSTRUCTIVE EDIT. DO NOT EDIT WAR AFTER THIS REVISION. SEE WP:EW."

Seulgi RV's local account on cebwiki was created about 11 hours after the last confirmed sockpuppet, A21NX, was blocked on enwiki. Note similarities between their cebwiki user page and the enwiki user page of a previous sockpuppet. On enwiki, their activity consists solely of undos of other people's edits, including reinstating incorrect edits, consistent with activity from previous accounts. User seems to be interested in editing articles that the previous socks were editing like aviation, airlines (Cebu Pacific, Cebgo, Philippine Airlines), Davao-related articles, etc. Contributions also shows similar behavior with evidence provided in Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/Mark Maglasang/Archive#29 January 2021 for sock A21NX. See diff. User also has a cebwiki account like sock Seulgi RV. Userpage also similar with a version of A21NX's.

User seems to editing while logged out via 49.149.77.80. This IP tried to remove the PROD tag in Draft:Buknoy Glamurrr (diff like what sock Not Shy Not Me ITZY did). I can confirm that this is Air Force 129 as he replied to me on Air Force 129's commons userpage. plus adding a comment and I'm gonna be honest here, adding some photos related to the airport is not necessarily to put a lot of aircraft or airplane pictures cause for me, it's too messy.
