Cezar Mateus- Chihchun Chi-sun Lee
- Corey Dargel
- Craig Russell (composer)
- Cristobal Pazmino
- César de Oliveira please don't confuse with Brazilian composers Paulo César de Oliveira and Marco César de Oliveira Brito. This article was recently repeatedly deleted on Portuguese Wikipedia. No reliable sources found.
- I nearly PRODed this until I realised neither Paulo César de Oliveira nor Marco César de Oliveira Brito have articles here either. How do we distinguish between them all? Are those other guys notable? We are on a bit of a back foot with this one it seems... --Jubilee♫clipman 23:36, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
Damon Ebner- Daniel Dutton- this is an odd one - the only real info is to be found on DD's own site - there is also a 'review' of a record of his music that suggests his 'operas' are really more in the line of songwriting - I suggest this is left to sink or swim.--Smerus (talk) 20:22, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
- Added one reference but not that good. Agree sink or swim. --Deskford (talk) 20:36, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
- This is how I put it this afternoon: --- Question: Only a single review from a not-entirely-RS plus his official site. Orphan still. This probably says it all... Now tagged NN --- Personally, (after some thought now) I'd just PROD it and see if anyone notices... --Jubilee♫clipman 23:21, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
- PROD --Jubilee♫clipman 16:28, 11 February 2010 (UTC)
- Update - AfD. See project talkpage. --Jubilee♫clipman 20:48, 13 February 2010 (UTC)
- David B. Doty - no sources for this guy online (or anywhere else that I can find) apart from his own notes to his recordings and his own website, which quaintly cites 'My Wikipedia article. Perhaps some qualified person would like to edit and expand it.' Another case of sink or swim.--Smerus (talk) 20:28, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
- Another PROD? I only found one ref and his own sites this afternoon. I didn't tick these two guys off here, BTW, in case anyone had a flash of inspiration and found a great source which we might have missed if they were maked "done"... Well, you never know..! --Jubilee♫clipman 23:28, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
- PROD --Jubilee♫clipman 16:28, 11 February 2010 (UTC)
- Update Deprodded --Jubilee♫clipman 20:48, 13 February 2010 (UTC)
- PROD --Jubilee♫clipman 16:28, 11 February 2010 (UTC)
- David Earl not the most brilliant sources, but better than a slap in the face with a wet haddock for someone who seems clearly notable enough.--Smerus (talk) 18:36, 9 February 2010 (UTC)
- David Lang (composer)
David Linx- David Ward-Steinman
- David del Puerto
Deepak Dev- Diderik Wagenaar
- Dieter Kaufmann
- Dominic Muldowney
Don Friedman- Don Kay (composer)
- Edwin Penhorwood but far too many sopranos... --Jubilee♫clipman 03:16, 5 February 2010 (UTC)
- Edwin Roxburgh very notable it seems
- Einojuhani Rautavaara
- Elodie Lauten all a little too Primary for my liking (Kalvos and Damien are Nonpop artists and Lauten appears to be associated with the nonpop scene). Verify please! --Jubilee♫clipman 04:23, 5 February 2010 (UTC)
- Eric Ross sources now questioned: see the article's talk page --Jubilee♫clipman 05:02, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
- Erica Muhl
- Erik Bach
- Erkki-Sven Tüür
- Esteban Benzecry
- Ester Mägi
- Eve Beglarian
- Francis Dhomont
- Frans Bak WPJazz?
- Frederik Magle
- Garbis Aprikian
Gennady Gladkov- George Dreyfus was already quite acceptable imo but have added a ref anyway--Smerus (talk) 19:31, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
- Georgi Minchev
- Gilbert Biberian 24 Preludes for Guitar seem very well known in Guitar world but I only found one useful page to source him. Any more? --Jubilee♫clipman 01:44, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
- Gilius van Bergeijk Reduced to stub by BLP content deletionist. - Rolled back (AFG) and added some sources. Please check they are useful RSs. --Jubilee♫clipman 22:23, 5 February 2010 (UTC)
- Donemus and HCMF sources seem good. I notice the HCMF performance was at Bates Mill, which is the venue where they put all the weird stuff...! --Deskford (talk) 23:24, 5 February 2010 (UTC)
Giorgos Katsarossongwriter--Smerus (talk) 10:58, 6 February 2010 (UTC)- Grigoriy Korchmar
- Hans-Ola Ericsson possible copyvio, page blanked and WP:CP and creator notified --Jubilee♫clipman 02:26, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
- Heinz Chur Reduced to stub by BLP content deletionist, but content is uncontentious and I've restored it. - OTOH, I can't find anything about this bloke! PROD? --Jubilee♫clipman 22:30, 5 February 2010 (UTC)
- Looks PROD-worthy. The best hint of notability is the claim of a recording on MDG, but I can't find this on MDG's own website. The German version de:Heinz Chur is scarcely any better. The reference to the Deutsche National Bibliothek looks promising, but it's just a list of works. --Deskford (talk) 22:58, 5 February 2010 (UTC)
- PRODed. (
Your last link is broken BTW, hence the dl tag!corrected)--Jubilee♫clipman 00:23, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
- PRODed. (
- Hildegard Westerkamp (I didn't see any obvious COI either so I removed that tag, too) --Jubilee♫clipman 03:31, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
- The COI tag was added by Duffbeerforme (talk · contribs) after Electrocdwiki (talk · contribs), owner of the record label Empreintes DIGITALes, created or expanded articles for most of the composers on his label — see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Empreintes DIGITALes. I think most of these COI tags could probably be removed if there is no obvious promotion of the label. --Deskford (talk) 15:39, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
- Oh that. The AfD proposed mass-deleting multiple articles simply because of very minor COI concerns, IIRC. Anyway, I suspect the tagging was also somewhat agressive so we can safely remove any more that don't tag really obvious promo of the label, agreed. --Jubilee♫clipman 17:26, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
Hirofumi Taniguchinot composer --Smerus (talk) 21:28, 6 February 2010 (UTC)- Howard Cable
- Huib Emmer but not much (and in Dutch); might also be in New Grove according to Google books --Jubilee♫clipman 18:24, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
- Ib Nørholm
- Ilija Pejovski (prodded) - very passing mentions and his own book were all I could find so Smerus' PROD is probably correct. I think he's WPJazz anyway so we should just probably unbanner this one and forget about it. --Jubilee♫clipman 22:00, 5 February 2010 (UTC)
- Update Deprod (may well be classical too) --Jubilee♫clipman 20:50, 13 February 2010 (UTC)
- Isabel Soveral
- Jaakko Mäntyjärvi
- Jacques Castérède but retagged "refimprove" because sources are not great --Jubilee♫clipman 18:33, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
- James Di Pasquale Nothing beyond NY Times filmography and IMDb, added as ELs. --Jubilee♫clipman 00:58, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
- James Erber Think he might be a bit young to be notable yet. Nothing much out there anyway. --Jubilee♫clipman 03:20, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
- Jay Alan Yim but he seems to have taught Mark Engebretson according to this. That composer appears to need an article if a quick Google is trustworthy. --Jubilee♫clipman 02:41, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
- Vaguely sourced now. Also, I (re)created the article on Mark Engebretson]. --Jubilee♫clipman 16:47, 11 February 2010 (UTC)
Jeffrey FaymanJoel Garten- John D. Stevens
John Ewbank- John Ferritto Not BLP
- John Mackey (composer)
- John Palmer (composer) not sure if he copied us or if we are copyvioing him... --Jubilee♫clipman 03:54, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
John Sheahan- John Webb (composer)
- Josep Mestres Quadreny
- Joseph Curiale
- José Carlos Amaral Vieira removed mistagging but added refimprove after I failed to find more --Jubilee♫clipman 02:52, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
- José María Sánchez-Verdú
Kasper BaiSongwriter. I gave a source anyway.--Smerus (talk) 06:22, 7 February 2010 (UTC)Kepa Junkera- Kim Kuusi though he appears to be a jingle writer and eurovision songwriter only. Any more? --Jubilee♫clipman 19:01, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
- Larry Goves he's all over the web - highly notable --Jubilee♫clipman 19:44, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
- Laurence Crane
- Linda Catlin Smith
- Liu Shueh-Shuan Taiwanese light music composer probably notable but difficult to reference
- Marek Biliński bannered for speedy deletion as 100% copyvio - otherwse prod, no refs anywhere I could see--Smerus (talk) 18:15, 9 February 2010 (UTC)
- Marjorie Merryman Frustrating. She should be perfectly notable but I can't find one review link. Partly because the Boston Globe is not online. Maybe someone else can have a go? --Kleinzach 11:30, 8 February 2010 (UTC) Clearly notable, you can find plenty of reviews in major US journals, see Google News Archives.--Vejvančický (talk) 12:39, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
Mall'd Vydinacflagged for speedy delete (hoax) Are you sure? I've never heard of a shopping mall with this name. Is it in the US? A Google search gives this which simply takes us to wikimirrors if you follow the links through. Obvious PROD anyway, though, if the Speedy is refused! --Jubilee♫clipman 22:57, 5 February 2010 (UTC) Hmm- may have been wrong about the shopping mall, due ot misreading of Google, but her supposed music school, 17 km from Paris, is an anagram of 'is nowhere'; it's defnitely a hoax.--Smerus (talk) 06:18, 6 February 2010 (UTC) Note now PRODed after speedy declined. --Jubilee♫clipman 17:45, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
- The place she was supposedly born looks suspicious too. How has this article managed to survive 2½ years without anyone spotting it...? --Deskford (talk) 18:02, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
- "Mall'd Vydinac" is an anagram of "David McNally". The article was created by Davidm617617 (talk · contribs). Could it be...? --Deskford (talk) 18:16, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
- Unless he lives in Kent (Ace Kent) or has a very friendly cat (Keen Cat), Ancketé doesn't anagram to much (though Ate Neck is a bit worrying). There are 58824 anagrams of "Nomi alea Réal Mur ly", so unless it is a phonetic play I've missed or his girl friend's name anagrammed, I can't get that one. David McNally is probably right, though! All good fun. Article still goes though... --Jubilee♫clipman 06:08, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
- "Nomi alea Réal Mur ly" is an anagram of "really our email, man", which is the most promising candidate I have found so far. AA Milne, manure, normal, normally, etc can all be formed from these letters but don't really go anywhere further, as far I can see. There is a full listing of 62501 anagrams here if anyone is that bothered. --Jubilee♫clipman 22:27, 8 February 2010 (UTC)

- Martijn Padding
- Martin Boykan mistagged but more added --Jubilee♫clipman 14:48, 7 February 2010 (UTC) appears to be copied from Boston Modern Orchestra Project website. Verify? --Jubilee♫clipman 14:53, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
- Maria de Alvear
- Mary Ellen Childs Grove or ODM would consolidate this. Clear notable. --Jubilee♫clipman 07:43, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
- Max Méreaux
- Michael Byron
- Michael Gordon (composer)
Michel Geiss- Milos Raickovich
Mineminemine- Nigel Keay looks like this was already done by Kleinzach, but I added another ref --Smerus (talk) 20:58, 9 February 2010 (UTC)
- Nils Lindberg
- Olivier Derivière
- Oscar van Dillen Note - this claims he was a member of the WikiMedia foundation and first President of Wikimedia Nederland. Notable in a rather surprising way, then, possibly! --Jubilee♫clipman 23:14, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
- OTOH, I can't find anything beyond passing mentions of him either as a composer or first President of Wikimedia Nederland. --Jubilee♫clipman 23:22, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
PRODedAfDed (didn't spot the first one): Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Oscar van Dillen (2nd nomination) --Jubilee♫clipman 23:40, 8 February 2010 (UTC)- but need more and needs sources about him not just about his music! Might just survive AfD, again, too. --Jubilee♫clipman 03:05, 9 February 2010 (UTC)
- Paavo Heininen
Pedro IturraldePetar Krumov- Pierre Cogen
- Pär Lindgren appears to be a close paraphrase of one of the references --Jubilee♫clipman 14:31, 7 February 2010 (UTC)

- Raoul Pleskow
- Richard Emsley
- Richard Stoker
Robert Hartshornenot a composer - I have prodded him anyway--Smerus (talk) 17:23, 6 February 2010 (UTC)Robert Matthew-Walkernot a composer--Smerus (talk) 14:35, 6 February 2010 (UTC)- Robert Washburn but article appears to be a close-paraphrase of his own website and has been tagged as such --Jubilee♫clipman 13:24, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
- Robert Ian Winstin found a source, but also removed a lot of copyvio material.--Smerus (talk) 11:45, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
- Roderick Watkins
- Ronald Caltabiano
- Roxanna Panufnik
- Samuel Jones (composer)
- Sara Carvalho but not a great source --Jubilee♫clipman 04:57, 9 February 2010 (UTC)
Sarah Peebles- Sheila Silver

Tom Price (musician)- Tona Scherchen
- Toshi Ichiyanagi
- Ugo Nastrucci
- Vasco Mendonça prodded--Smerus (talk) 14:45, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
- Victor Davies
Vincent de Jesusdue for a prod I would say - no sources but seems to be a songwriter rather than composer and anyway nonnotable despite the inflated text (which I will tone down)--Smerus (talk) 14:53, 9 February 2010 (UTC)
- Note: removed from Composers and moved to Film --Jubilee♫clipman 17:59, 11 February 2010 (UTC)
