• 20 August 2011: Dorset promoted to good article status, becoming the project's sixth good article.
• 14 February 2011: Christchurch, Dorset promoted to good article status, becoming the project's fifth good article.
• 6 February 2011: Dorset has been put up for peer review.
• 8 January 2011: Christchurch, Dorset has been nominated for good article status.
• October 2010: Dorset demoted from FA status following a featured article review.
• August 10 2009: Dorset needs attention. Visit here for an explanation.
• June 9 2009: Congratulations to the work of User:Nev1 and other editors, who have helped Maiden Castle, Dorset achieve GA status. Another great piece of writing to add to the growing numbers of WP: Dorset! I'm sure that over the coming months we will see many more join the ranks.
• June 1 2009: The Dorset coat of arms, which previously appeared on Template:WPDorset (to the left of the Dorset Portal), has been removed and is pending renewal.
• February 21 2009: WikiProject is created by User:MasterOfHisOwnDomain
