Gun Politics Task Force is a task force of WikiProject Politics. The task force aims to improve articles related to gun politics. If you would like to help, please inquire on the talk page.
Scope
editThe Gun politics task force aims to coordinate, expand and improve Wikipedia's coverage of topics broadly related to governmental regulation of firearm ownership. Examples of items within this scope include:
- Legislation such as Firearms policy in the United Kingdom
- Lobbying and advocacy groups such as NRA and Brady Campaign
- Mass shootings such as Port Arthur massacre (Australia)
- Firearms with a connection to these topics such as Ruger Mini-14
Goals
edit- Develop best practices for applying Wikipedia policies, guidelines and consensus to articles within the scope of Gun politics
- Improve neutral coverage of gun crimes in related articles
- Practical work in relation to the scope.
