I cannot believe how much debate this TFD has generated... !!!! - Ta bu shi da yu 09:57, 8 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Its not surprising at all. Its linked to 8000+ articles and the TFD is right on top of the template. Trivia haters/lovers are flocking to it. --Eqdoktor 14:06, 8 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
Sigh. With all the energy generated, we could have just fixed all the trivia sections by now. What a gigantic waste of time. - Ta bu shi da yu 14:12, 8 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
Those "wasteful" trivia points are often what finds someone to the atricle they're looking for. For example, the "trivial" point that this-or-that was made from something not terribly relevant, on a google search, may turn up the page. I was looking for a song once (Bad Moon Rising) with only one line I could think of, typing that into google eventually turned up the song- Which I'd misunderstood for years ("there's a bad moon arising", not "there's a bathroom on the right"). Obviously, I did NOT find the song here.71.34.70.201 (talk) 19:46, 8 August 2009 (UTC)A REDDSONReply
