Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck (འཇིགས་མེད་གེ་སར་རྣམ་རྒྱལ་དབང་ཕྱུག་, Wylie: jigs med ge sar rnam rgyal dbang phyug; born 21 February 1980) is the Druk Gyalpo or "Dragon King" of the Kingdom of Bhutan and son of King Jigme Singye Wangchuck. He became the monarch on 9 December 2006.
