editThe most common uppercase form is a variant of omicron (Ο), broken up at the side ( ), with the edges subsequently turned outward ( , , , ). The alternative uppercase form, found in some typefaces, that looks like a larger version of lowercase ω, is from a digraph of two omicrons written close together.
