шицок
Pannonian Rusyn
editEtymology
editLikely from earlier *вшиток (*všitok), *вшицок (*všicok), inherited from Old Slovak všetek, všetok, všitok. Shift from -т- (-t-) to -ц- (-c-) most likely influenced by the inflected forms, via -tk- → -ťk- → -ck-. Cognate with Polish wszystek and Slovak všetok.
