عصام • (ʼısam) (plural اعصمت (aʼsımet))

1. strap, thong, a long, narrow, pliable strip of leather, or the like

   Synonyms: تاصمه (tasma), سیر (seyr), قایش (kayış)

2. kohl, stibnite, collyrium, a dark powder used as an eye makeup

   Synonyms: سرمه (sürme), كحل (köhl)
