Latvian terms with individual senses that are no longer fashionable and thus are anachronistic, but still sometimes in use, especially by older speakers.
To categorize into this category, use {{lb|lv|dated}}
(template lb, not tlb), which should typically be placed next to the individual sense.
If the term itself, in all its senses, is dated, it should be placed in [[Category:Latvian dated terms]]
instead, using {{tlb|lv|dated}}
(template tlb instead of lb), which should typically be placed next to the headword. If the term is merely a variant (alternative form) of a term in general use, it should be categorized in [[Category:Latvian dated forms]]
(using {{dated form of|lv|...}}
or {{dated spelling of|lv|...}}
).
Dated senses should be distinguished from archaic senses, which are no longer in use (except occasionally for special effect) but are still sometimes encountered in older literature and are typically recognized by native speakers; and obsolete senses, which are no longer in use at all and are not usually recognized by native speakers.
