Summary

Description The visible color spectrum, from 380 nm to 710 nm. Calculated directly using the tristimulus values of the CIE 1931 color space. CIEXYZ to RGB conversion is done assuming sRGB 1.10 device characteristics. This is a brightness-reduced version of Image:Spectrum-sRGB.svg in order to cause less desaturation of out-of-gamut colors. This image can serve as as a basis for other representations of color spectra.
