"array against"

edit

I came here looking for the use of the word array as in this sentence: The community arrayed itself against the criminal. Perhaps this should be added to the to array section? 98.217.196.75 04:54, 10 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Redundancy

edit

Noun definitions 5-7 seem redundant. Do they not? -AnonymousDDoS (talk) 17:41, 3 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Not exactly redundant, but yeah, I think it would make sense to merge them into one or two defs. Perhaps:
  1. Any of various data structures designed to hold multiple elements of the same type; especially, a data structure that holds these elements in adjacent memory locations so that they may be retrieved using numeric indices.

That sounds great. I should have said that they're repetitive, not redundant. - AnonymousDDoS (talk) 16:43, 6 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
