Talk:dac
With regards to dac = spite in hungarian, it should be noted that the hungarian word for a dachian person is "dák" (dákok for the dachian people). (Note: this phrase has a strong negative connotation in Hungary, since the nation refutes the spurious theory of "dákó-román kontinuitás" or Ancient Rome era dachian-romanian continuity, which was used to convince France to curb away Transylvania from Hungary at the end of WW I. Owing to the similarity of dák and dákó / snooker rod in the hungarian language, there are nasty jokes made at the expense of romanians, as many of hungarians remain angry to this day despite officially excellent foreign relations between the two countries.)
