I have always been wondering what the expression "lean, mean" is. I couldnt find it in any dictionnary. What does it mean ? Thanks, Nicolas.

It just the use of two adjectives, as in "He is a lean, mean, fighting machine" = He is a lean and a mean fighting machine. Hope this helps. Leasnam 15:38, 3 June 2010 (UTC)

leaned: sometimes /lɛnt/

Carolina lean, Cali lean, California lean, Tennessee lean

US slang for a kind of truck modification that raises the front end and lowers the rear. Commonly found online, but not in Google Books. Also called the Carolina squat. Equinox ◑ 16:25, 19 May 2023 (UTC)
