- RFD-deleted (counting Tea room votes). —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 23:30, 1 January 2021 (UTC)
- @Metaknowledge: The page has not been deleted. J3133 (talk) 07:57, 4 January 2021 (UTC)
- @J3133: Indeed, it seems to be a sort of software redirect that I am unable to delete. I don't know how to resolve this one. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 17:48, 4 January 2021 (UTC)
- I think we can just close this discussion. The page isn’t even editable by administrators (maybe it needs a bureaucrat to access it), so there is no likelihood of editors editing it. — SGconlaw (talk) 18:09, 4 January 2021 (UTC)
- I just deleted it. It doesn't take a bureaucrat to do it (though I am one, so you may ask how I would know), but you have to add "?redirect=no" to the URL by hand in order to go to the page itself without redirecting. And just for the record, all the bureaucrat flag does is enable you to add or remove privileges for user accounts- it's totally useless otherwise. It's possible to be a bureaucrat without being an admin, though in practice someone who is trusted enough to be made a bureaucrat has almost always already been made an admin before then. - Thanks. Funny how it didn’t generate a “redirected from” link, which usually appears when redirects are clicked on. — SGconlaw (talk) 05:15, 5 January 2021 (UTC)
- I'm not sure why, but it probably has something to do with the way the Main Page is integrated into the system as a default address. I didn't know until I tried it whether the "?redirect=no" trick would work on this type of redirect, but fortunately it did. Chuck Entz (talk) 05:31, 5 January 2021 (UTC)
